The estranged wife of Robert Kennedy Jr. tragically hung herself on May 16. Now, shocking new evidence from the autopsy report reveals that Mary may have tried to halt her suicide attempt. When Mary Kennedy's body was found at her home in Bedford, NY, her fingers were between her neck and the noose implying that she may have tried to stop her suicide at the last minute. Westchester County Medical Examiner Dr. Kunjlata Ashar confirmed to the New York Daily News that "'the fingers from both of [Mrs. Kennedy’s] hands were between the rope and the neck." According to the autopsy report, there was an abrasion on Mary's finger from the rope.
