People in the U.K. and around the world mourned along with the royal family when Queen Elizabeth II died on Sept. 8, 2022. Ten days after the longest-reigning British monarch’s death, her state funeral was held at Westminster Abbey in London followed by a committal service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor.
Those two services were televised and streamed by millions across the globe. Given such an emotional day for the family, some have wondered what they said when they were seen talking to each other and clergy members during and after the services. Well, a couple of professional lip readers have decoded that and are revealing their conversations including who King Charles made it a point to speak with immediately following the services.

The day Queen Elizabeth II died is a date etched in history forever as millions of people around the world mourned the passing of Britain’s longest-reigning monarch. Since her death on Sept. 8, 2022, there has been a lot of speculation to go with the mystery of what happened in her final moments.
We know some members of the royal family didn’t reach the queen’s bedside before she took her last breath. It’s believed that was due to Prince Harry holding things up because he kept arguing and insisting his wife, Meghan, fly to Balmoral with him after he was told no. In an effort to calm him down, Harry’s father said Prince William’s wife (formerly known as Kate Middleton) was not permitted to come either. And while there were rumors that Harry and Meghan would attempt to reconcile with the royal family by attending this year’s Christmas at Sandringham, one royal expert said nothing would have been “fully resolved” just from spending one Christmas as a family.

The saga that’s the royal family rift continues. While things are seemingly at a standstill, a report’s offered insight into how Prince William and Kate Middleton supposedly feel. The couple are filled with apparent resentment for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The reason? What the couple’s leaving has done to not just their marriage but their “family life” too.
Prince William and Kate Middleton have taken on ‘even more responsibility’ since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left
2020 didn’t just mean the Duke and Duchess of Sussex left England and relocated to California. Because they were no longer working on behalf of the monarchy, others had to take over the couple’s patronages.
That’s where the now-Prince and Princess of Wales came in. They, like other royals, had to increase their workload. Which is why the couple reportedly harbors ill will toward Harry and Meghan.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made waves when they left the royal family back in 2020. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were tired of disagreeing with Harry’s family, of being berated by the press, and of the family not sticking up for Meghan. However, more than three years have passed since the two settled down in California, and there have been rumors that Harry is looking for a home base in the United Kingdom both for business and because he misses his home country. But one royal expert says all of those rumors are “unlikely.”

Kate Middleton, who became the Princess of Wales after Queen Elizabeth II died in September 2022, has been a working member of the royal family since she married Prince William in 2011. However, the princess has been an unofficial family member for far longer — she and William first started dating in 2022. Meaning, she’s had plenty of time to master the art of a working royal.

Negative commentary continues to follow Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The Sussex’s were criticized by royal commentator Kinsley Schofield who wonders if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be “worth the headache” to potential collaborators after their split with Spotify.

Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield appeared on Talk TV to discuss the royal family. After parting ways with podcast giant Spotify, her remarks focused on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s future in the entertainment industry.
Likewise, she claims that a joint statement regarding a “mutual parting of ways” between Spotify, Harry, and Meghan means more than an agreement not to work together anymore. Schofield believes the partnership’s dissolution is linked directly to the couple’s work ethic.

Kate Middleton, now known as the Princess of Wales, has found herself in plenty of interesting situations since stepping into the public eye. While the princess always tries to have smooth outings, occasionally, something goes amiss, whether it’s a wardrobe malfunction at an unexpected moment or some other unanticipated accident. But she’s only human, and thankfully, she rolls with the punches.
This was also the case when Kate was speaking with young mothers only to be interrupted by a baby’s loud — but adorable — burp.

Since stepping down from their roles as working royals, Prince Harry has been free to break some of the old family rules and protocols he once lived by.
One example of this is when he and his wife, Meghan Markle, visited a restaurant in Harlem during their trip to New York City in 2021. Now the restaurant owner is remembering the Duke of Sussex’s eating habits and the way he ate chicken, which isn’t the royal way.

Kate Middleton has been known to enjoy a cocktail or two. Here’s her preferred flavor profile as of late and what we know about the duchess’ drinking habits.

Previously, Middleton seemed to gravitate toward sweeter cocktails. Showbiz Cheat Sheet has reported that she had an affinity for a cocktail called a “Crack Baby,” which is a passion fruit-vodka-champagne mixture.
She also previously has reportedly liked Jack Daniels whiskey, which provides cocktails with an oakier taste.
Of course, through the years, people’s tastes can change.
Recently, Middleton told This Morning host Alison Hammond about what kind of cocktails she’s drawn to these days.
“[She] said she liked spicy cocktails but doesn’t like sweet ones or anything like that,” the Great British Bake-Off host recalled.
Hammond also noted that Middleton enjoys spicy meals in addition to spicy cocktails.

Queen Elizabeth and Kate Middleton had a close relationship from the moment Prince William brought Kate home to meet his grandmother. Though the queen passed in September 2022, she and Kate enjoyed a number of experiences together through the years, including several royal engagements. Plus, the queen was known to be fairly laid back in her sense of humor. The two bonded over several things, but one connection they shared was both agreeing that a certain royal tradition — that still remains in place today — is “slightly bizarre.”

When details emerged that Queen Elizabeth II was on her deathbed, several family members began making arrangements to rush to her bedside. That included Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who happened to be in the U.K. when they got the news that the queen was not doing well. However, the Duke of Sussex was told he was welcome at Balmoral Castle to see his grandmother but his wife was not.
Because of that, the Princess of Wales (formerly Kate Middleton) was not permitted to go either and according to a royal author, Kate has never forgotten that and “built up resentment toward Meghan” over it.

Now, it’s being reported that organizers are finalizing the seating arrangements and making sure that Harry and his brother, Prince William, will be separated to avoid a potential disaster. Here’s where Harry will likely be seated and what the Prince of Wales will do at the ceremony that Harry won’t have to.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s fallout with the royal family has led to hard feelings on both sides. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have openly shared their feelings about their reported mistreatment by the royal family. In turn, the senior royals have kept mum about many of the couple’s remarks in various media outlets and their Netflix series Harry & Meghan. However, the couple’s spiritual adviser, Deepak Chopra, believes Harry and Meghan have “too much drama” surrounding them. Here’s why he thinks this is true.

Among the many things Prince Harry opened up about in his Spare memoir was telling Meghan Markle, “I love you.” When, where, and how the Duke of Sussex said the words that “had been on the tip of” his “tongue almost from the start” and how he later “analyzed” himself.

September 2017 marked a significant point in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relationship. Harry and Meghan made their first public appearance as a couple. And, as Harry revealed in Spare, he’d also told Meghan he loved her the same month.
They’d been inside Nottingham Cottage, or “Nott Cott,” making dinner. Harry recalled the “whole cottage” as being “filled to overflowing” with love.

John Lennon has to make the shortlist when discussing the most famous Liverpool natives. He relocated to London and later moved to the United States, but he spent his formative years in the English port city. City leaders showed their love for John by immortalizing The Beatles founder in statue form at Liverpool Airport on March 15, 2002.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could attend King Charles III’s coronation on May 6, 2023. If they do, many will be watching to see what type of reception they’ll get from Harry’s family following the release of their Netflix docuseries and the duke’s explosive memoir Spare.
One expert observed that everyone tried to appear cordial the last time they were in the U.K. But tensions were high between Harry’s wife and senior royals including the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton), Queen Consort Camilla, and the Duchess of Edinburgh following Queen Elizabeth II’s death. Here’s what that expert saw when cameras weren’t on the women.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a lot to say about the royal family over the last couple of weeks. However, the palace has remained silent so far. A royal commentator gave his take on why the royal family isn’t saying anything.

Prince Harry says he wants to reconcile with his family, but royal commentator Charles Rae doesn’t think that will happen any time soon. According to him, it will take time before everyone is willing to take steps toward healing the rift.
“I do not think there is any chance, in the short term, of any reconciliation between the Sussexes and the rest of the family,” says Rae on behalf of Slingo. “So many accusations by Harry and Meghan have been made, but lots of families have fallouts and,...

King Charles III‘s coronation is set to take place in May and as some details of the event are being released one question that keeps popping up is: Should Prince Harry and Meghan Markle be invited?
After Queen Elizabeth II’s death, even though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved across the pond and spoke about the family in multiple interviews most people did not question if they would be invited to the king’s coronation. However, feelings on whether they should be asked to attend changed following the release of the couple’s Netflix docuseries as well as the prince’s memoir Spare. Piers Morgan recently discussed this topic with one of his guests who told him: “That’s why you’re not king.”

Some of Queen Elizabeth II's youngest family members were a special part of her state funeral in London on Sept. 19. Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the oldest two children of Prince William and Kate Middleton, were part of the late Queen's funeral processional in Westminster Abbey.
The siblings, ages 7 and 9, respectively, entered the service with their parents. Joining them in the procession were their aunt and uncle, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Prince Louis, who is only 4, was not part of the funeral service. But earlier comments from his mom make it clear that the little royal is feeling the loss of his gan-gan.

Like Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton also wore jewellery that once belonged to the Queen at her funeral on Monday.
The Princess of Wales honoured the late monarch by wearing two of her pieces; the Bahrain pearl drop-earrings and a stunning Japanese pearl choker necklace with a centre diamond clasp.

The James Bond franchise is at an interesting crossroads. A couple weeks ago, it was revealed that the five studios had entered a huge bidding war over distribution rights. Once Spectre was released, the contract with Sony expired, allowing other studios to pitch themselves to Eon, who produces the Bond films.
It sounds like that isn’t the only interesting thing surrounding James Bond. Recently, MI6-hq noticed a peculiar entry on Bond 25’s IMDb page. According to said entry, the production behind the film is Syncopy. If you’re unfamiliar, this is Christopher Nolan’s very own production company. Now, it’s important to know that a lot of info on IMDb for upcoming films is inaccurate. It’s a great site, but it’s best used as a way to look at already-released films, as anyone can change the info.
So we should take this all with a grain of salt,...

When a signing goes to plan, the new recruit enriches the team, lifts the squad, and gives the supporters renewed hope for the future. Everton manager Roberto Martinez has proven efficient in the transfer market, bolstering the Blues with the shrew captures of Romelu Lukaku, Gerard Deulofeu, and Gareth Barry, to name but a few of the Catalan’s coups.
But for every free-scoring Belgian and silky-skilled Spaniard, there’s always an Arouna Kone and Aiden McGeady – forgettable signings whose recruitment gives Martinez and his scouting operation about as much wheeler-dealer cred as Rodney and Del Boy.
There’s always the good and the bad… but there’s also the downright weird, transfer business that makes you wonder what they were putting in the water supply when the club’s management paraded these players in front of a bemused press conference.

Manchester United vs Newcastle United. It’s a game that, for Magpies supporters, has always been a special one in the footballing calendar.
Admittedly Old Trafford has been one of the unhappiest away grounds for the travelling Toon Army – Newcastle have won there just once in 31 encounters since 1972 – but it is still a pilgrimage that Magpies supporters make in their thousands on a yearly basis.
The fact that Newcastle have such a poor record in the red half of Manchester actually makes some supporters even more determined not to skip this clash – because they do not want to miss the rare occasions when they can be overjoyed at claiming victory there.
Steve McClaren, Sir Alex Ferguson’s former assistant boss at Man Utd, takes his Newcastle side back to Old Trafford on Saturday (12.45pm kick-off) still searching for his first win as Magpies head coach. An...

Given their reputation as a “selling club”, not to mention their rise, decline and rise again through the years, it should not be surprising that Southampton have a more rapid turnover of staff than most clubs. While their successful youth academy produces a conveyor belt of young talent often snapped up after barely a year in the Saints first team, the club have often turned to experimenting with trialists, short term loans or rolling contracts to plug the gap.
In particular, a number of once great and now passed their prime players have been signed in the hope that they’ve still got a little of what made them great (and then rapidly dumped when it turned out they hadn’t).
Just look at Dennis Wise, the perfect example of both the quick-to-depart promising youngster and the has-been former great signed in desperation. A product of the Southampton youth system,...

As Louis van Gaal prepares to take charge of his first Premier League game as manager of Manchester United next Sunday, one of Sir Alex Ferguson’s biggest mistakes will be staring him right in the face. Last summer, after announcing his retirement following a glittering 26 years in charge of the club, Ferguson was allowed to hand-pick his successor in David Moyes and it didn’t work out.
Moyes was sacked after just 10 months and many football experts questioned the wisdom of the decision thereafter. The venerable Scot should not have been given so much influence in selecting his replacement and no other business in the world would afford such a luxury to a former employee.

It’s no accident that signing for Man Utd is considered one of the greatest achievements in football.
As a result the club have boasted some of the greatest stars in the history of the game through the years, with the likes of George Best, Eric Cantona, Cristiano Ronaldo and Ryan Giggs leading the club to success, creating moments of wonder for fans of the Old Trafford club in the process. But for all of the top class talent to strut their stuff in the famous red shirt, United line ups have not always been perfect.
Whilst stars such as those have produced some fantastic memories, unfortunately many will not forget the players who have turned out for United who have not quite enjoyed the same fortune and success. As one of England’s most successful football clubs, Manchester United have always chased the biggest and best players in the game, regardless of the price tag.
In 2001, we set the British transfer record to sign Juan Sebastian Veron, while more recently, we broke our club transfer record in landing Juan Mata from Chelsea for a cool £37 million.
But not all of the club’s huge transfer outlays have proved successful. While players such as Eric Cantona and Cristiano Ronaldo have graced the Theatre of Dreams, more than a few hopefuls have instead endured nightmares, at both their own, and our expense.
Though United have always seemingly had money to burn, many promising stars have seen their playing careers go up in smoke when attempting to live up to their occasionally-eye-watering transfer value.

The first details about the royal stag party have been leaked, and it will apparently consist of a day of water sports, such as waterskiing and wakeboarding. It won’t be a “wet” event, as no alcohol is allowed while attendees use the equipment—though they’ll finish off the day by boating to various seaside bars and restaurants. Let’s hope there aren’t any stowaways of the buoyant and blonde variety.
