Allllllrighty then! 1994 was The Year of Jim Carrey, with the actor hitting an unprecedented run of three massive hits totaling over $700 million worldwide. First out of the gate was Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, the movie where Carrey made it look like his butt was talking. While it earned the least overall, many of us saw it upon release and knew Carrey was the next face of comedy. Hey, you may have even been at the multiplex with Kurt Russell, Goldie Hawn and their son Wyatt, who had a pretty amusing bonding experience when they caught it in February of that year.
In a dual sitdown with ComicBook.com, Kurt and Wyatt Russell were asked which movie they have most bonded over. While Kurt wasn’t so sure the pair were big moviegoers, he was able to come up with a title. “When he was about 10 — no, you were maybe nine — and...

There are a few films that successfully derived the formula of The Karate Kid while making a name for itself with its own identity. One of those movies is the quaint 1992 Chuck Norris film, Sidekicks, a movie recently featured on our list of the Best Chuck Norris Films. This movie would feature an added plot element where the young protagonist finds himself often daydreaming of having adventures alongside his biggest influence, Chuck Norris, that playfully parodies the different films that Chuck has made throughout his career. It would all culminate in getting to meet the Texas Ranger himself as dream becomes reality, and the two team up in a karate tournament.
According to ComicBook.com — the man, the myth, the legend — Chuck Norris recently appeared at Nashville Comic-Con. During his panel, Norris was asked by ComicBook.com’s Chris Killian, “What do you feel is your most underappreciated film? For me,...

Dave Bautista is on the precipice of a career high point. 2023 marks the release of three major performances from the wrestler-turned-actor: sadistic antagonist Glossu Rabbu in Denis Villeneuve's "Dune: Part Two," his swan song as the "Guardians of the Galaxy" sweetheart Drax the Destroyer, and his most prominent speaking role to date, as potential cult leader Leonard in M. Night Shyamalan's "Knock At The Cabin." Needless to say, Bautista has definitely carved out a place for himself in Hollywood, and moviegoers are luckier for it.
Bautista is easily one of the greatest actors to make the transition from wrestling — that certainly seems to be the consensus amongst all the directors who have worked with him. Rian Johnson only just got done singing Bautista's praises following the press tour for "Glass Onion," and as we approach the release of "Knock at the Cabin," Shyamalan seems to be taking his place.

“A Quiet Place II” doesn’t open in theaters nationwide for another two weeks, but Paramount has unveiled the highly anticipated horror sequel to press and the rave reactions are already pouring in for writer-director John Krasinski and his cast. The original “Quiet Place” opened to strong reviews in April 2018 and $340 million at the worldwide box office. The sizable gross made a sequel inevitable, but Krasinski took his time ensuring he would only return to direct if the story was strong enough to warrant a continuation. Unlike the first installment, Krasinski has sole screenwriting credit on “A Quiet Place Part II.” It appears whatever Krasinski came up with for the sequel worked, as press are calling “Part II” unbearably intense and a more-than-worthy sequel to the 2018 favorite.
Paramount’s official synopsis for the sequel reads: “Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of...

Gotham has just revealed our first official look at the final form of the Joker ahead of the show’s final two episodes later this month. Leaked images had prepared fans for what was to come, but the release of a character poster and a teaser trailer revealing the villain’s ultimate appearance still shook the fandom today. And Gotham lovers are well and truly split on the look.
Following his fateful fall into a vat of chemicals last time we saw him, Cameron Monaghan’s Jeremiah Valeska will return at Gotham‘s end with a heavily-scarred face and a bald head with the occasional wisps of green hair. It’s a markedly different design for the Clown Prince of Crime, and some fans really aren’t taking to it. Especially because Jerome and Jeremiah’s previous looks were awesome.
Two perfect joker designs for Jerome and Jeremiah. Vs the...

If you’re still coming to terms with the news that Stan Lee is no longer with us, you’re not alone.
Earlier this morning, it was reported that the Marvel Comics luminary had died at the age of 95 after he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Now, the Internet at large is mourning the death of Stan Lee, who, together with Jack Kirby, launched Marvel back in 1961, before going on to create such iconic characters as Black Panther, Spider-Man, the X-Men and Fantastic Four. And that’s just scratching the surface, as Lee’s enduring legacy will live on for generations to come. Hell, if they’re right in saying we die twice – once when they bury you in the grave, and the last time someone mentions your name – then Stan Lee may well prove immortal.
Here’s a small sampling of the heartfelt tributes currently flooding social media,...
