James Pugliese had The Better Golf Academy and acting in his blood by
the age of ten! At nine, he started his golf career driving golf carts
with his uncle Charlie in Connecticut. By ten, he knew he wanted to
play golf professionally. "I am going to see you on tour someday"
forever stayed in James' heart. He started his acting career on a
Nickelodeon show. Auditioned with Bonnie Timmerman at MCA Universal for
a role in the movie Mobsters while studying acting at The Lee Strasberg
Institute. New York trained, a Columbia University graduate, James
headed West to pursue his dream. In Los Angeles, both careers
paralleled each other. James landed roles in TV and in Film, as his
golf balls landed in fairways and greens. He founded The Better Golf
Academy for kids and adults, and co-founded BGA Sports & Entertainment
to promote the game of golf. When not playing golf, or thinking about
what to produce next, James spends time with his friends and family on
both coasts. James was recently honorably mentioned as America's Top 50
Junior Golf Instructor by U.S. Kids Golf.
