AMC has finally set the premiere for the sixth and final season of “Better Call Saul” — as well as the second half of the sixth and final season of “Better Call Saul” — after teasing fans mercilessly with the information earlier this week. As an added bonus, the cable channel also revealed first-look images from the sixth season (see above) and unveiled upcoming digital series set in the “Breaking Bad” prequel’s universe.
On Thursday, AMC announced that the seven-episode Part 1 of “Better Call Saul” Season 6 will premiere on April 18 at 9 p.m. Et. on AMC and AMC Plus. Back-to-back episodes will air that night. On “Better Call Saul,” Rhea Seehorn plays Kim Wexler, the character with perhaps the show’s highest moral compass. But on her latest series, “Cooper’s Bar,” Seehorn has gone in a completely different direction.
“I’m an absolute asshole in it; I am horrible, which is fun,” she says. Actually, the marketing deck for “Cooper’s Bar” goes even further than that, calling Seehorn’s character, TV executive Kris, the “biggest dick in Hollywood.”
“It’s incredibly different from Kim Wexler,” she says. “It’s definitely fun, when I’m am churning and wringing hands about Kim Wexler, to be working on these scripts for ‘Cooper’s Bar’ and thinking about Kris, somebody that steps over recliners and just screams and yells at people and has no tact whatsoever.”

Unranked Illinois defeated No. 7 Penn State today in a record-setting nine overtimes, as the Fighting Illini scored on a short touchdown pass to topple the Nittany Lions 20-18 in a Big 10 battle.
The game was held at Penn State’s home field in State College, Pa, as part of Penn State’s homecoming weekend. Traditionally, homecoming games are planned around an opponent that’s expected to lose and send the alumni home happy. That was not to be the case this Saturday.
The previous record for the most overtimes in college football is seven, with five different games in Fbs history reaching that milestone.
The Illini claimed victory on a pass from quarterback Brandon Peters to Casey Washington.
The win was the Illinois team’s first over a Top 10 opponent since 2007. The game was nationally televised by ABC.

The new web series Being Eddie Black, from Byron Hord of Beb Productions, follows Eddie (played by Casey Washington) as he receives a promotion from the mail room into big-time corporate advertising at the Homogeny agency. Surprisingly enough, Eddie meets a diverse group of co-workers at the agency who are determined to fit the mold created by ridiculous corporate policy. Eddie's bosses, Peter Rosenbaum and Kathy Harrigan, are nightmarish creatures reminiscent of Bill Lumberg in Office Space. They take pleasure in sticking it to their employees on technicalities and rules, and the customer is always king, no matter how lame the customer might be. In Eddie's case the customer won't trust a black man without a mustache. Luckily for Eddie, viewers advised Eddie not to shave his 'stache even after a black co-worker told him he'd be less scary without it.
