Aristide Baracchi was born on July 31, 1885 in Reggio Emilia, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. He was an actor, known for Madama Butterfly (1956). He died on August 28, 1964 in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.
Italian baritone. He has been one of the best "Comprimario" singer of
the 20th Century.
He participated in the premiere of Puccini's "Turandot" (as The
Mandarin), Mascagni's "Nerone" (as Vinicio) and Boito's "Nerone" (as
Slave Admonisher).
