As announced at D23 back in August, She-Hulk is finally coming to the McU in the next few years as Marvel Studios is currently developing a solo TV series for the heroine which will land on Disney Plus. Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters has been a favorite to join the franchise for the past decade, so naturally fans have a lot of thoughts about who should play her.
One common suggestion is star Rosario Dawson, who’s already popular with the fandom from her role as Claire Temple in the Marvel-Netflix shows. But what would Dawson actually look like as She-Hulk?
Well, fan artist Boss Logic has got us sorted in that corner as he’s whipped up this cool piece which casts the actress as Jen. “Since #SheHulk is Live action,” he wrote in his caption.”I’m throwing @rosariodawson out there again.”

For years, The Incredible Hulk was the black sheep of the McU family, with its canonicity called into question once Mark Ruffalo replaced Edward Norton in The Avengers. However, it’s felt more connected again ever since William Hurt’s Thunderbolt Ross started becoming a recurring presence in the franchise, starting with 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. Now, we’re hearing that another of the movie’s leads could return in the upcoming She-Hulk TV series.
According to insider Daniel Richtman, who revealed the news on his Patreon, it’s possible that Marvel is planning on inviting Liv Tyler back to reprise her role as Betty Ross for the She-Hulk show. This report comes as casting for the project is said to be kicking off, with the search underway to find the perfect actress to play protagonist Jennifer Walters. The call for Marvel Studios to deliver an all-female team-up movie just keeps on getting louder. This past week alone, we’ve had Elizabeth “Scarlet Witch” Olsen, Brie “Captain Marvel” Larson and Tessa “Valkyrie” Thompson making clear their wish for something like this to happen and now, Black Widow star Scarlett Johansson is joining them in campaigning for the project.
While speaking to Variety, Johansson was asked if she would appear in an all-female team-up movie for Marvel one day. The actress didn’t commit to anything, but did praise her fellow McU women and stated that she believes now is the right time for it.
“I don’t know what my future is in that world. Obviously, it’s a little more opaque for my character. But that group of actresses is so incredibly powerful and when they come together, it’s explosive and unstoppable. So yes, I’m pushing for that.

At the recent D23 Expo, Marvel Studios announced that a She-Hulk limited series was in the works for Disney Plus, adding yet another title to the long list of shows currently in development for the studio’s upcoming streaming service. While no other details have yet to be released other than the official logo, almost as soon as the news was revealed the speculation about who could play Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters began and it hasn’t died down yet.
Several names have already been gaining some traction among fans, but one of the favorites appears to be Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Stephanie Beatriz, with the actress herself admitting that she would relish the opportunity to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the green-skinned lawyer if given the chance.

The upcoming She-Hulk show for Disney Plus is already building a lot of buzz, thanks to the fact that Mark Ruffalo will reportedly be making an appearance alongside his female counterpart. But that’s not all, as according to our sources – the same ones who told us about the series way back in April before Marvel officially announced it – Grey Hulk will be part of the show, too. If this turns out to be true, and there’s no reason it wouldn’t given that these are also the same sources who told us the studio was doing a Ms. Marvel series before it was revealed at D23, then we could be seeing a range of different gamma-induced Hulks roaming the screen when She-Hulk eventually arrives on the streaming service.

We’re coming up to a year since Daredevil season 3 aired, bringing the Netflix show to a premature close, and fans are still not giving up on the chances of Charlie Cox’s Man Without Fear returning to the McU in a different form in the future. As we all know, Marvel isn’t allowed to do anything with the Defenders for a couple of years yet, but it’s possible they could make the most out of the hero after that time in a way that would really please fans.

Now that Spider-Man is officially back in the McU, fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Even better yet, they can start thinking about the web-slinger’s future movies instead of dwelling on the “will they or won’t they all be friends” drama of the Sony/Disney feud.

At the recent D23 Expo, Disney and Marvel Studios continued to roll out their slate of upcoming projects, both for the big screen and upcoming streaming service Disney Plus. Unsurprisingly given its status as arguably the most popular brand in the entire entertainment industry, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to play a huge role in the new platform’s future.
Along with the five shows that were already previously announced, it was revealed that Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk would also be making their way to Disney Plus, which makes quite the lineup of McU-related content. The three characters are all well established fan-favorites that people have been hoping to see in the franchise for years, and debuting them on TV looks like the smartest way of introducing heroes that many audiences may not be too familiar with.

She-Hulk is coming to the McU, as Marvel revealed last month at D23 that a Disney Plus series is on the way featuring Bruce Banner’s similarly green-skinned cousin. The Hulk is something of a mystery right now in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After the events of Avengers: Endgame, there’s no clear path forward for the Green Goliath, as his arc, and apparent destiny, came full circle within the confines of that film.
But fans know this isn’t the end for the character in the shared universe, as Mark Ruffalo has, more than once, discussed his willingness to continue in the role. Those in the know at Marvel Studios are remaining tight-lipped though about what’s going to happen with him.
Now, chances are that Bruce Banner and his angry alter-ego will have some sort of part to play in the upcoming Disney Plus series She-Hulk. This idea’s given more weight when you consider the fact that Ruffalo took to social media to welcome his fellow Gamma-powered hero into the fold.

Avengers: Endgame gave us a Hulk in the laboratory. Now Disney+ will be giving us a She-Hulk in the courtroom.
One of the better parts of Avengers: Endgame was the fact that Professor Hulk was a viable character, able to exist in normal scenes without sticking out like a sore thumb. Once they had that tech figured out, it was only a matter of time before She-Hulk became part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And now, here we are, with the announcement of She-Hulk getting her own Disney+ show!
She-Hulk is high on the list of “top Marvel characters to not yet show up in the McU,” especially now that both the X-Men and Fantastic Four are inevitable arrivals. Since her introduction in 1980, she’s been a major fixture in Marvel and a fresh enough take on an existing property that she rarely feels redundant when standing next to her brutish cousin.

Right now, not much is known about the gestating project, but it’s quite exciting to ponder the possibilities. If you’re familiar with the source material, then you’re well aware of how Bruce Banner’s cousin, Jennifer Walters, is somewhat comparable to the Smart Hulk seen in Avengers: Endgame insofar that she’s always in green form and retains her intelligence. That said, the producers would be wise to look to Charles Soule’s acclaimed comic book run showcasing what she can do as an attorney.

The Infinity Saga may be over, but the Marvel Cinematic Universe will barrel forward with the November launch of Disney+. At D23 Expo in Anaheim on Friday, Marvel head Kevin Feige confirmed that the upcoming slate of series scheduled to premiere on the Disney streaming platform will be integrated into the films just as the current McU movies are and always have been.
“These episodes will intersect with the movies in a very big way,” Feige said. “It’s a totally new form of storytelling that we get to play with and explore.”
Although Marvel fans already knew a handful of titles to expect, ranging from “WandaVision” and the Untitled Loki Series, Feige also announced three new titles. Details, below.
Untitled Loki Series
McU regular Tom Hiddleston will return as Loki for the Disney+ series. Daniel Brühl will return as Zemo, joined by Emily VanCamp, who played Sharon Carter in the “Captain America” films.

Marvel has just announced three new McU shows coming to Disney Plus in the next few years. What’s more, all three feature fresh characters we haven’t met before in the franchise. And the icing on the cake is that they’re three of the heroes that fans have wanted to see in live-action for the longest time. Namely, the new series are Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk.
For the uninitiated, She-Hulk is really Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner who shares his knack for turning green and mean due to a blood transfusion to save her life. Unlike Bruce, though, Jennifer generally stays in her green form and retains her intelligence. Much like Smart Hulk in Avengers: Endgame. There could be a connection there, too, but that’s just speculation for now as no further details about the show were revealed.

Today at Disney’s D23 Expo, Marvel Studios officially announced three new Disney+ series that are in development! Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and the one that I’ve been hoping to see made for a long time… She-Hulk!
There were no details revealed for these shows. They were just announced, and Marvel also shared the following title logos!
Ms. Marvel is being developed by British writer Bisha K. Ali, who will write and act as showrunner on the series. Ali is a comedian who is currently a writer on Hulu’s remake of Four Weddings and a Funeral.
The series will be inspired by and focus on the most recent incarnation of the character, a teenager named Kamela Khan. Ms. Marvel is a shape-shifting Muslim Pakistani-American teenager from New Jersey, who becomes the newest holder of the Ms. Marvel identity. She is the youngest of two children from a traditional Pakistani Family.

Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk and Moon Night are joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. At Disney’s D23 Expo annual confab, Marvel boss Kevin Feige announced that Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk and Moon Knight live-action series are in development at the upcoming streaming platform Disney+. All are derived from Marvel comics. The Ms. Marvel character, Marvel’s first Muslim superhero, also will be featured in movies, Feige said.
She Hulk was created Stan Lee and artist John Buscema and first appeared in the Feb. 1980 issue Savage She-Hulk #1. Known as Jennifer Walters, she’s a lawyer and the cousin of Bruce Banner and gets an emergency blood transfusion from him following an injury, thus acquiring Hulk-like qualities. She’s also a member of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Defenders and S.H.I.E.L.D.
Moon Knight aka Marc Spector is a former CIA agent who was almost killed by a terrorist named Bushman.

The McU is expanding on Disney+ with three more series, “Ms. Marvel,” “Moon Knight” and “She-Hulk,” set for the upcoming streaming service.
Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige made the announcements Friday at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California, during the Disney+ showcase.
In the comics, Ms. Marvel is the name used by two different superheroes — first by Carol Danvers, now known as Captain Marvel, and then Kamala Khan, a teenager with the power to enlarge or shrink any part of herself she wants, who adopts the name in tribute to Danvers. The “Ms. Marvel” series will feature Kamela Khan, who is notable as the first Muslim character in Marvel’s 80-year history to headline her own comic. Feige said the character would also appear in future films.

A month after unveiling an ambitious Phase 4 slate at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios has confirmed three new series in the works for Disney+: She-Hulk, Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel.
Marvel head Kevin Feige dropped the news Friday at D23 in Anaheim during a panel touting the upcoming streaming service. He noted that Bruce Banner is no longer the only gamma-ray-powered hero around. She-Hulk — aka Jennifer Walters, and attorney and cousin to Bruce Banner, a blood transfusion from whom is responsible for her powers — first appeared in 1980’s The Savage She-Hulk No. 1, and was the last major Marvel character co-created ...

Ask any Marvel fan which comic book characters they’d like to see appear next in the McU, and odds are She-Hulk would be near the top of that list. Fans have been clamoring to have Jennifer Walters’ alter-ego pop up in the franchise for years now, and if a new rumor is to be believed, it sounds like she might finally get her time in the limelight come Spider-Man 3.
The rumor – which was reported on by Cosmic Book News, so take it with a grain of salt – says She-Hulk will play a massive role in Spidey’s next adventure, and it all ties into Far From Home’s mid-credits shocker. The scene, which finds J. Jonah Jameson revealing Peter Parker’s identity to the world while also implicating that he’s wanted for the “murder” of Mysterio, paves the way for the web-slinger’s third solo outing, which...

I try to keep up with what Marvel Comics is doing the best I can. They are doing some fun and interesting new things and one of the latest big developments that I thought was worth sharing with you involving The Hulk.
Bruce Banner’s version of The Hulk has gone trough a lot of changes and has evolved a lot over the years, but he’s no longer the most powerful version of the Hulk in the Marvel Universe.
In the most recent issue of Jason Aaron's Avengers comic series, it’s revealed that the title of most powerful Hulk goes to Jennifer Walters a.k.a. She-Hulk.
If you haven’t read Avengers #8 yet, there are spoiler ahead. But, if you’re just curious and want to get the latest updated on what’s happening in the the comics, read ahead!

If Netflix continues to mine the Marvel seam, which characters might come in for the Defenders treatment next?
The Marvel-Netflix deal might have met its initial goal with the broadcast of crossover series The Defenders, but there’s no stopping that particular gravy train - future seasons of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist are already on their way.
See related Here's your first look at Murder On The Orient Express
Marvel has already shows its willingness to add new characters to their roster of heroes with a Punisher series due to drop this year, and deals like New Warriors and Cloak & Dagger show that they’re not afraid of pushing D-listers into the spotlight to see what takes. So with the obvious choices already taken care of, we couldn’t help wondering: which characters should make up a second wave of Defenders shows?

Childhood friends turned bitter enemies. Sounds like the stuff of soap operas, not to mention more than a few recent comic books. And so we have former childhood frenimies and comic book characters Patsy Walker and Hedy – not Hedley – Wolfe. Nowadays, when they think about their shared past it’s angst for the memories.
All because of Patsy’s mother. When Patsy was a teen, her mother, Dorothy Walker, exploited Patsy by writing a series of teen humor comic books starring Patsy and Hedy. Patsy was embarrassed by them, but her mother wouldn’t stop writing them. That caused a rift between Patsy and her mother. Of course, the fact that when Patsy’s mother was dying she tried to sell Patsy to the Devil so that Patsy would die instead of her probably didn’t help their mother-daughter relationship. It makes Joan Crawford’s hanger management issues look like Mother-of-the-Year stuff.

Matt Murdock Has Some Interesting Conflicts
Has this ever happened to you? You’re sitting there, minding your own business, reading your comic books, when something in the story makes you go, “Now, that’s not right!” Of course you have. You can probably count on the fingers of one hand, the number of times you’ve read recent comic books and haven’t found something that made you say that. And probably still have enough fingers left over for an obscene gesture.
I have a confession to make, I’ve done it, too. The difference being, when you do it you can complain on a message board or something. When I do it, then I get to do this…
So there I was minding my own business reading Jessica Jones #9. I had just gotten to the part where Sharon Carter, acting head of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Although not many may come to think it, Hulk and Wolverine have been inextricably linked since they went toe to toe in Logan’s first appearance way back in The Incredible Hulk #181. As time’s gone by, the two have repeatedly locked horns, teamed up and even carried their storied history over into other media, namely the 2009 animated film Hulk vs. Wolverine, which I highly recommend checking out.
Well, it looks like Marvel is taking the next step by combining the two. For now, all we have to go on is a cryptic image Tweeted by editor-in-chief Axel Alonso that was captioned with “Under Construction” that shows some kind of Hulk/Wolverine hybrid in a stasis tube (check it out above).
Now, let it be known that Logan met his end in continuity proper in 2013’s Death of Wolverine, with X-23 since taking his place. Likewise, Bruce Banner recently bit...

With the events depicted in recent issues of Captain America: Steve Rogers becoming such a hot button issue, it comes as no surprise that fans turn out in droves whenever the latest installment arrives in comic shops. As such, reprints are on the way.
Seeing as how Marvel reclaimed its place atop the Diamond Comic Distributors sales charts, many would say its newfound success is largely due to new and relaunched series, not just hot storylines. Taking that into account, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the following books are due for a second printing: Captain America: Steve Rogers #8, Hulk #1, Infamous Iron Man #3, Thanos #2, Unworthy Thor #3 and Venom #2.
Aside from Steve Rogers’ continuing hailing of Hydra, the appeal of those other titles is understandable. Whether it be Jennifer Walters stepping up to claim the mantle of the Hulk or Victor Von Doom donning the Iron Man armor (yes,...

Legacy heroes are running rampant at Marvel these days, something we’ve had the opportunity to discuss on more than one occasion lately. The beauty of it all is that it’s not necessarily always men stepping up to fill the shoes of their predecessors. From Jennifer Walters becoming the new Hulk to Jane Foster claiming the mantle of Thor, the A-list crop isn’t as much of a boys’ club as it once was. Such is also the case with All-New Wolverine.
This example, however, felt much more natural than most torch passings due to the fact that Laura Kinney, formerly known as X-23, was the clone daughter of Logan, the original Wolverine who happened to meet his demise a few years back. And, much like her papa, it looks like she’s set to endure some rather unpleasant experiences in next week’s issue that hauntingly echo his past.

With Us Avengers finally making its debut this week, it comes as no surprise that such an ambitious new title would make changes to the Marvel status quo. One that we can’t help but to discuss is the introduction of a new Red Hulk.
That’s right. Not only has Jennifer Walters stepped up to claim the proper Hulk mantle as of late, but there’s a new brute of the red variety in town. If you’re a fan of Thunderbolt Ross, you may find yourself a bit disappointed, but we all know the publisher certainly loves to shake things up these days.

While we anxiously await the possible return of the original Thor, Marvel continues to shake things up by having Jennifer Walters shed the “She” prefix in the pages of the new Hulk series.
As in most cases, the inheriting of a superhero’s mantle is due to the death or retirement of the original. Much to the chagrin of purists, the former is true in this example as Bruce Banner recently met his demise thanks to Hawkeye in the crossover event Civil War II. As such, the former She-Hulk is primed for her time in the limelight.
Don’t expect it to be a cakewalk, though. Jennifer is enduring some difficult changes in her life, which series artist Nico Leon wasn’t afraid to address in a recent discussion with Newsarama. And like any good penciler, he intends on making readers feel as though they’re taking the journey with...

Last week, Rosario Dawson (Daredevil, The 25th Hour, Kids) Tweeted that she'd be honored to assume the role of She-Hulk after a fan told her how great she'd be as Jennifer Walters, and now Boss Logic has put together an impressive piece of art which gives fans an inkling of how she could look as the character. Of course, even if Marvel ever get around to developing a She-Hulk movie, the chances of Dawson nabbing the role when she's already playing Claire Temple in all of the Netflix shows are very slim - but who's to say they couldn't make Claire She-Hulk instead of Walters? Okay, so that probably wouldn't go down too well with the majority of CBMers!

Rosario Dawson (Clerks 2, Kids, Sin City) currently plays Claire Temple on Daredevil (and the rest of the Netflix shows for that matter), and will most likely continue to do so for some time - but, there is a different Marvel character that fans have wanted to see her cast as for many years now: Jennifer Walters, Aka She-Hulk. When a fan told Dawson that she'd make a great She-Hulk over Twitter, the actress responded very positively, saying that she'd "be honored to assume the role." Of course, even if Dawson wasn't already playing an McU character, the studio doesn't have any current plans (that we know of) to adapt She-Hulk for the big or small screen - though Walters is about to take over as The Hulk for a new ongoing comic series, so perhaps that could change at some point. As highly unlikely as it seems, what do you think of this scenario?...
