- Jenna has been a vegetarian since the day she left for college at 18. She's been active in helping homeless animals find a forever home and has had rescue pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, lizards and a ball python.
- Jenna earned a BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University. She played Eva Peron in 3 productions of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita (later using that character in her The Pretender: The Centre Chronicles graphic novel), Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Super Star and Sarah Brown in Guys 'N Dolls.
- Jenna was the Global Makeup Artist for both Delux Beauty and Two-Faced Cosmetics, appearing on QVC and The Shopping Channel respectively.
- Jenna created the Legion of Leia, an online initiative to support and promote women in sci-fi, featuring profiles of and interviews with everyone from Jane Espenson (Once Upon a Time) to Ashley Eckstein (Star Wars: The Clone Wars).
- Jenna has appeared in a number of publications, including 3 issues of the pinup magazine Cupcake Quarterly cosplaying as Cersei from Game of Thrones and a Star Wars shoot, the Women of Geekdom 2012 calendar as a valkyrie and the 2014 Celebrity Pet Adoption Calendar along with Felicia Day, Wil and Anne Wheaton and Seth Green.
- Jenna is a comic book author, with two stories in the comics anthology "Womanthology," a 100 page graphic novel on the way with co-author Rachel Pandich and Eisner Award-winning artist Janet Lee and the upcoming prequel series for The Pretender. She and actor/artist Jeffrey Henderson published a 10 page preview on the Pretender official website.
- Jenna appears on and moderates panels at geek conventions and film festivals around the country including San Diego Comic-Con, New York Comic-Con, Nashville Comic-Con, WonderCon, the Atlanta TV Fest, Epic Con Geek Fest and more. Some of the panels include Falling Skies, Spartacus, Beauty and the Beast, Husbands, ElfQuest, which she moderated and Master of the Web, Most Dangerous Women of Comic-Con and Rotten Tomatoes, where she was a panelist.
- Jenna is a chapter author and editorial assistant to the PsychGeek series of books including "Star Wars Psychology: Dark Side of the Mind," "Game of Thrones Psychology: The Mind is Dark and Full of Terrors," "Captain America vs. Iron Man: Freedom, Security, Psychology," for which she did an interview with former co-host Stan Lee, which became the foreword, "Star Trek Psychology: The Mental Frontier" and "Doctor Who Psychology: A Madman With a Box." She is currently working on a book about raising geek daughters for Her Universe Press.
