Italy’s Minerva Pictures and Tvco have agreed a partnership in international film sales.
Both companies will jointly acquire films, share expertise and bring together over 2,000 films ranging from new releases to library titles.
Through the partnership, the companies aim to compete more effectively with international sales agents on acquiring bigger films, from high end drama to genre, and series. They aim to buy both Italian and international titles.
Minerva and Tvco, which will each retain their own names, said they expect to increase consolidated sales by at least 40% in the first two years as a result of the partnership.

Rome-based sales agency Tvco has acquired worldwide sales to Igor Drljaca’s fourth feature “The White Fortress,” which world premiered this week in the Generation 14Plus strand of this year’s Berlinale.
Drljaca’s previous credits include several award-winning shorts such as “Woman in Purple” (2010) and “The Archivists” (2020), as well as his critically-acclaimed debut feature “Krivina” (2012), his sophomore film “The Waiting Room” (2015) and his first documentary feature, “The Stone Speakers” (2018).
The film is set in a rundown Sarajevo suburb and follows Faruk, an orphan who lives with his ill grandmother and spends his days foraging for scrap metal and dabbling in petty crime. One day he meets Mona, a timid teen from a politically powerful and affluent family. Rome-based international sales and production company Tvco has scooped up sales rights to Argentine comedy “El Padre de Mis Hijos” (“The Father of My Sons”) which Tvco is presenting along with drama “El Silencio del Cazador” (“The Hunter’s Silence”) at the Malaga Spanish screenings (Nov. 17-20). Both are directed by Martin de Salvo and produced by Domenica Films of Argentina.
“El Padre de Mis Hijos” centers on Eva, who is in her late 30s and is facing the pressure of friends and family about missing out on her peak child-bearing years. She becomes obsessed about having a child, but the problem is finding a suitable father.

Exclusive: Rome-based sales company Tvco has boarded world rights on Masha, Anastasia Palchikova’s Russian drama which will screen at Tallinn Black Nights in Estonia and have its market premiere at AFM this month.
The film is a co-production between Moscow-based companies 1-2-3 Production, the creators of Netflix original series To The lake, and Mars Media, which has credits include T-34 and Arrythmia.
Masha premiered at Kinotavr, the Sochi Open Russian Film Festival, where it picked up the the Best Debut Film Award. The film stars Anna Chipovskaya (The Road To Calvary) as a girl who has grown up between the boxing ring and the streets of provincial Russian town in the turbulent 90s.
Her closest friends are young gangsters who kill, rob, steal and are loathed by the entire town. But in young girl’s eyes they are the salt of the earth, the family that loves and protects her.

From Poland’s Time for Love by way of the Philippines’ Death of Nintendo through to the Latvian-Finnish film The Pit, the Italian sales agent is offering buyers a varied line-up. The first title to be put forward by the international sales agency helmed by Vincenzo Mosca Tvco at the Cannes Film Festival’s Marché du Film is Time for Love. Directed by Miguel J.
