One of Jackie Chan’s action masterpieces is 1983’s Project A. The film brought Chan together with his brothers from the China Drama Academy, Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao. Project A features Chan’s signature action with the famous set pieces that have been inspired by such classic silent-era performers as Harold Lloyd and Charlie Chaplin. Now, the home video distribution company 88 Films, which has released remastered Chan movies like Dragons Forever and the Police Story movies, will now be releasing Project A and Project A – Part II on 4K Blu-ray. Blu-ray.com has announced that the set will be available on April 23, 2024.

EntertainmentPopular actors Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim got married on August 21, 2014.Nazriya and Fahadh with their pet dog OreoActor Fahadh Faasil is known to be a bit of a social media recluse, so it was a rather special moment for his ardent fans when he took to Facebook on Monday, August 21 to pen a warm note for his wife and actor Nazriya Nazim on the occasion of their ninth wedding anniversary. “Thank you for the love. Thank you for the life. 9 years of US,” Fahadh wrote alongside a heartening picture of them together, looking away from the camera in what appears to be a foreign country. He credited the photograph to filmmaker Amal Neerad, who has directed Fahadh in films such as Iyobinte Pusthakam (2014) and Varathan (2018). On the occasion, Nazriya too took to social media to share a wholesome picture of the couple holding on to their eight-year-old dog, a Shih Tzu named Oreo.

In the newest episode of "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds," called "Under the Cloak of War," several members of the Enterprise crew get to openly discuss the consequences of war, and ponder their deep-seated battlefield trauma from the recent Klingon conflict. "Star Trek" has long been a franchise that advocates pacifism, and sees war as -- just like in the real world -- humankind's ultimate failing. "Cloak" sees soldiers as either brainwashed into mindless, suicidal sacrifice for ideals that don't even exist, or as suffering murderers who are constantly living on the brink of madness and violence. It also sees few avenues for healing; once war trauma has taken hold, no act of justice is sufficient to cleanse one's soul. Everyone gets out stained.
"Strange New Worlds" has been, up until now, a mostly light, often whimsical show about warm, welcoming people. Occasionally, the characters will be stranded in a...

The great Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu said, "The flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long." Most people think Tzu was talking about the importance of conservation and avoiding burnout. He could just as easily have been referring to the beloved sci-fi television show "Firefly," which graced our screens for 14 sublime episodes, briefly returned via the 2005 film "Serenity," and was never heard from again. Some things are simply too pure for this world.
Browncoats everywhere know the best thing about "Firefly" is the characters. The crew is a group of disparate castoffs, many of them lovable losers of a kind. Yet, they are all wonderfully unique and perfectly cast, bringing the witty and often surprising dialogue to life.
There are no bad "Firefly" characters. If all was right with the Verse, this would be a nine-way tie. However, by their very definition, rankings put somebody first and someone last.
