In 2019 Steve won two 'Best Supporting Actor' awards at International Film Festivals for his role in Dark Highlands.
Beating off competition to secure lead roles in performances of "Scrooge" in "A Christmas Carol" and in the
quirky "Under Milk Wood". Following on from this, Steve played several
roles within Shakespeare plays from "Much Ado about Nothing" to "As You
Like It". The highlight of this time was beating over a hundred other
hopefuls to win the lead of "Romeo" in an adaptation of the classic
"Romeo and Juliet".
From there, further integral roles in British network programs such
as the much loved BBC series
Monarch of the Glen (2000)
and ITV program
Sea of Souls (2004) allowed
Steve to gain varied experience in front of the camera.
Steve has previously been a member of the advanced class of highly respected and
successful LA acting coaches
Ivana Chubbuck
and
Margie Haber. In addition,
Steve worked one to one on his dialect training with
Bob Corff and
Denise Woods to perfect a wide
range of accents that will further increase his ability to fill a
diverse range of characters.
Steve is very involved in charity work in the UK and regularly raises
money for good causes from Cancer Research to Unicef.
