Olivia Harlan Dekker is ready to make history at Super Bowl Super Lviii in Las Vegas. She’ll be reporting from the sidelines during the big game for UK-based Sky Sports while her father, legendary play-by-play announcer Kevin Harlan, will be broadcasting for Westwood One. It’s the first time ever a father and daughter duo are covering and calling a Super Bowl. This milestone is not lost on Harlan Decker, who built a career all her own, with credits including the NFL and NBA presenting for ESPN, CBS, and Fox Sports. The business runs through her veins because of not only her dad but her grandfather who also served as lead exec for the Green Bay Packers. We caught up with Harlan Dekker as she gave us her Super Bowl prediction and geared up for the big game. Do you remember the first time you realized what your dad does for a living?...

TNT will not have its lead broadcaster when the NBA resumes its season next month in Orlando.
Marv Albert, who is 79, will not be part of the network’s coverage over concerns regarding the coronavirus pandemic, which has roared back to life in recent weeks, particularly in Florida. Albert told The New York Post, “I had second thoughts.” Turner also confirmed to TheWrap that Albert will not be going down to Orlando.
Kevin Harlan, Ian Eagle or Brian Anderson will likely take over Albert’s spot in the network’s top broadcast team.

It’s hard to know exactly why football has had such a stranglehold on the public consciousness over the past few decades, but it would be a lot easier to figure out if there were always cats on the field.
Last night’s Monday Night Football game will be quickly lost to fans outside the Nfc East, but what will likely live on in future years will be the fact that, with five minutes to go in the 2nd quarter of a Cowboys-Giants game, a black cat scampered on the field.
Radio announcer Kevin Harlan’s 45-second call of the action spread like wildfire through social media, and deservedly so. Harlan’s just the best. (It would be easy to pinpoint this as a career highlight for him if he wasn’t already responsible for two of the best non-sports sports moments of the last few years: narrating...

A well-known figure in sports is bringing his particular brand of storytelling to the Broadcast Team of Kevin Harlan, Kobe Bryant, and Kevin Garnett in NBA 2K19! More within...
In my humble opinion, the greatest sportscaster is Kevin Harlan. All due respect to the talents of Al Michaels, Joe Buck, Jim Nance, and other incredible voices, but Harlan's unique voice and knack for telling fascinating stories makes him my all-time favorite sports personality. That's one of the many reasons why NBA 2K19 is such a treat to play. Getting to listen to him and future NBA Hall of Famers Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett while we ball out adds to the gameplay experience in a way that other Sports Games can't.
Now, 2K Sports is bringing in a man that every avid NBA fan should know, The Ringer's own Bill Simmons. Listen to his random anecdotes in the Broadcast...

Last weekend, I got a group of friends together to play a few sports games. We hung out, ate some pizza, and played a number of matches throughout the day. As you might have guessed (since you’re reading this review), one of the games we spent a good chunk of time with was NBA 2K18. For hours, we had fun doing nothing but going back and forth, taking turns by passing the controller around. There were blowouts, there were close games (one even went to overtime), and in the end, I walked away feeling like NBA 2K18 was one of the best party games I played this year.
Then the next day, I sat down to fool around in the rest of the modes, and get a full taste of what developer Visual Concepts had to offer. I was completely ready to give NBA 2K18 a great review based...

Two NBA Legends will lend their voices to NBA 2K18 when the hit basketbal game arrives later this year. Come inside to hear how they sound so far!
For years, the voice of NBA 2K (and sports in general) has been the great Kevin Harlan. Today, 2K has announced that the legendary analyst will be joined by two legends of the court in NBA 2K18. 5-time NBA Champion Kobe Bryant and 1-time NBA Champ Kevin Garnett will be rotating throughout the season, sharing stories, and providing valuable insight. Listen to their sample run!
On an entertainment aspect, it seems as if Kg is having way more fun with this than Kobe is. Then again, Kg has always been the more outgoing of the two. Nevertheless, their additions should give the audience an added entertainment factor, especially with how crazy Kg sounds in the trailer.
Added commentary is just part of...
