Ana Bayat is the award-winning playwright, creator and actor of the critically-acclaimed multilingual show "Mimi's Suitcase" (recipient of the Neda Nobari Foundation Grant in Innovative Arts and nominated for a Freedom of Expression Amnesty International Award at 70th Edinburgh Festival Fringe) with over three decades of experience in theatre, film, voiceover and language/dialect coaching worldwide.
Following in her father's footsteps, Ana trained in the Stanislavski system by studying with direct students of the master himself before embarking for England where she completed further studies in acting, stagecraft, language, literature, linguistics, translation and film. Thanks to her multicultural upbringing, Ana is fluent in Spanish, UK and US English, French, Persian, and proficient in German, Italian and Catalan. An accomplished multilingual linguist with a unique, interactive and creative style of dialect coaching, Ana actively coaches A-list actors to find their character's voices when approaching new accents and languages. Her latest collaboration resulted in Glenn Close speaking a seamless Persian in the series Tehran, season 2, on Apple TV+.
