Brian A Martinez

Brian Martinez is a Southern California native, born and raised in
Fountain Valley, California. Brian became interested in acting at age
7, when he was flagged twice by talent scouts in a local mall. Brian
then began doing background work for television and film. He acted in
several plays through the very professional Musical Youth Artists
Repertory Theatre (MYART) program in Long Beach and Orange County.
After several small roles, the assistant director invited Brian to
perform as Speedy McRabbit in their alumni performance of Li'l Abner.
Brian acted in several university films, which included some voice-over
work. Brian has also landed the lead roles in most school plays. In
2007, Brian performed as Willa Wonka, delighting the crowd when he
performed the 'worm' on stage. Brian performs in skits and short films
with the Sharing GOD Kid Style performance troupe. He is able to
memorize lengthy scripts. After many acting classes, Brian has learned
to perform a variety of characters in an animated and seemingly
unrehearsed manner. He loves comedy and improvisation, exhibiting his
high energy and rich imagination.
In addition to acting, Brian loves baseball, soccer, hip-hop, swimming, beach sports, and piano. Brian also enjoys spending time with his friends, parents, his 21-year-old sister Diana, her cat Jasmine, their dog Ella, and his snake Drake. Brian's mother is of European descent and his father is from Mexico. Brian is in the 7th grade and takes honors classes. When he grows up he either wants to be an actor or a computer programmer, he's still deciding. Brian is learning Spanish.
