Feel the Bern? Maybe an ice cream inspired by Bernie Sanders will cool you down.
The 75-year-old former presidential candidate spoke at an ice cream factory Friday that took Twitter by storm after he tweeted a photo of himself speaking behind a podium resembling a giant pint of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.
Sanders addressed employees at the St. Albans, Vermont factory, and spoke about energy policy before tasting a few of the flavors, according to The Hill.
Despite Sanders’ effort in engaging those present, Twitter users could only focus on the possible ice cream flavors that could be named after the Vermont senator.

Campaign finance – namely, the controversial Super Pac system – has proved a crucial element of Bernie Sanders' presidential bid. During speeches, he's railed against "millionaire and billionaire" funding by waving his fingers with unmatched ferocity – like the baton of a possessed maestro. Stephen Colbert's Late Show staff were so inspired by the politician's "pointing prowess" that, during Tuesday's show, they unveiled video game "Bubble Burst Bernie," in which users unlock the "Revolution" by exploding bubbles with the Vermont senator's digital movements.

Ben Cohen, formerly of Ben & Jerry's, decided to go it alone and dream up his own ice cream for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, which he inexplicably dubbed "Bernie's Yearning." It's a mint-chocolate-chip ice cream, with a solid disc of chocolate on the top — a metaphor for inequality, see? "The chocolate disc represents the huge majority of economic gains that have gone to the top one percent since the end of the recession. Beneath it, the rest of us," Cohen explains on berniesyearning.com. But as Stephen Colbert points out Wednesday night, this ice cream as a metaphor for the one percent could have been edited. Maybe a rich layer of marshmallow that sucks all the flavor from the rest of the ice cream on top?...

Senator Bernie Sanders is getting some sweet support from ice cream maker Ben & Jerry’s. The Vermont company’s co-founder Ben Cohen is whipping up a special limited addition batch in honor of the state’s very own presidential candidate. Over the weekend, Cohen announced he was working on the new concoction, telling his Facebook followers: “Spent the weekend making ice cream. Feeling inspired. #FeelTheBern.” Also Read: Democrats Scramble, Add Last-Minute Town Hall With Clinton,...

ABC‘s The Whispers feels more like something that should pop up on Syfy, and while that isn’t at all a bad thing in general, it also feels like the kind of show developed around the brainstorm-session telling of its opening ten minutes.
“Here’s a creepy scenario,” someone says, and the response is to tell him to just keep going.
As is becoming all too common, the story is written largely paying attention only to the tenets that – A) if it’s really goofy, but everyone is very serious, it’s really good – B) bullet points are all you need in our era of short attention spans.
Point A is basically the simple result of people wanting to get a lot of sci-fi on the air, even when they don’t understand why people like sci-fi. They don’t get why things work, or don’t, but they know Lost was popular.

I hope you’re watching Undateable, because the show is still one of the best times on television, and I think it’s getting even better as the new season progresses.
The addition of Good Luck Charlie‘s Bridgit Mendler was a great move, and she has, so far, been phenomenal on the show. She’s just the right mix of character that slips into the overall structure of the cast, and that’s a tricky thing to pull off.

Channel 4 will show its support for gay people during the upcoming Winter Olympics in Sochi.

The channel will unveil a new rainbow-coloured logo tomorrow (February 7) to mark the beginning of the games, while the giant Channel 4 sign outside the broadcaster's London headquarters has also been painted in a rainbow style.
Meanwhile, a new "tongue-in-cheek" advert will air at 7pm, 9pm and 10.30pm tomorrow across all of Channel 4's networks, including E4, More4 and 4Seven.
The video - which includes rainbow colours and the cabaret act Fred Bear - features a song called 'Gay Mountain', which includes the lyrics: "Be fabulous, be free, we honour our Queens...

Katy Perry thinks pop stars are too sexy these days, bemoaning the strange world in which established pop stars think they have to be “naked to be noticed.” The pop tart, lacking any sort of self awareness, says “I’m not talking about anyone in particular. I’m talking about all of them. I mean, it’s like everybody’s so naked. It’s like put it away. We know you’ve got it. I got it, too. I’ve taken it out here and there. And I’m not necessarily judging. I’m just saying sometimes it’s nice to play that card, but also it’s nice to play other cards.”

Bermuda made big progress for gay rights this summer passing a non-discrimination act, but Premier Craig Cannonier doesn’t see marriage equality as a priority. “That was not on our agenda (for this legislative year) and for us, there has not been a lot of noise about moving in that direction.”
Meanwhile, in Montenegro, police were forced to fire tear gas at 1,500 anti-gay protestors at the nation’s first Pride celebration. There were only about 150 marchers, and ten times that number protesting.

According to a message that appeared before Law & Order: Svu last night, the episode that followed — titled “American Tragedy” — ” fictional and not depict any actual person or event.” In reality, of course, the hour was clearly ripped from one of the 2013′s biggest headlines: the case of George Zimmerman, on trial for shooting Florida teen Trayvon Martin.
But wait — there’s more! The woman who shot Svu’s Martin facsimile happened to be a celebrity chef with a history of racial prejudice… much like Paula Deen. And the storyline also hinged, partially, on New York City’s controversial stop-and-frisk program.
