For the past year, the Eyeshield 21 manga, written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Yusuke Murata, has been celebrating its 21st anniversary. That celebration has culminated in a special one-shot 55-page chapter which was published in Weekly Shonen Jump today in Japan. Alongside the chapter, the finished version of Murata’s animation, which was created at his Village Studio anime studio, was released on the Shonen Jump YouTube channel. The newest chapter continues the story and follows Sena Kobayakawa and the rest of the team as they move into the world of college football and fight for their dreams and pride. The chapter got the center color of the magazine.
