The short film (programmed by Telluride) served as Slottje's Columbia University MFA thesis, and was the first horror film in history to be admitted to the festival's prestigious 'Filmmakers of Tomorrow' section.
In 2023, the short accrued over 100,000 views within a month of being posted on YouTube.
