After coming off his directorial debut with the psychological horror/thriller “Of Silence” in 2009, up and coming actor, writer, director, producer Jeremiah Sayys has spent the last two years in post-production perfecting the film. During that time he has managed to take time to produce and star in the family drama “The Legends of Nethiah”, in which he plays the title character, and to produce and star in the horror comedy “Opious”, playing the edgy character Silas who is part of a ghost hunting group that has to close a portal from hell after it was accidentally opened. His next directorial project was supposed to be the werewolf horror film “Wulf” that was planned...

Of Silence PosterOf Silence is an independent film from Worlds Last Hero Productions. The film puts first time director Jeremiah Sayys in the director's chair, on stage, and in the position of scriptwriter. These multiple roles for Sayys show passion and the film's first trailer asks deeper questions. Is there another dimension, which we cannot see? Does silence have power? There is no definite answer to these questions, but the premise for the film does try to take on the difficulty of losing someone. Actor/director Jeremiah Sayys dropped Fango a line with an update on his film Of Silence, which we last reported on here. The indie chiller follows Colby (to be played by Sayys), an ailing scuba instructor facing extremely tough times who begins to experience otherworldly incidents, and is set to begin production this April in Palmdale, CA.
The cast has been filled out with Masiela Lusha (from the upcoming live-action Blood: The Last Vampire, pictured) playing Colby’s wife, genre regular Muse Watson as his father and Paul Cuneo portraying Miskit, a debt collector. Marky Andrews will be providing makeup and special FX for the flick, while Erick Crespo will serve as cinematographer. Check back here for more updates as Of Silence heads into its shoot.
