After 11 years as a photojournalist Dan returned to his first passion
Film & TV in 2006 including producing credits on 7 Network shows
Trapped and Castaway and ABC's Do or Die. As an AD and AP he has worked
across a number of large commercial shoots including Hyundai, Toyota,
Telstra, Tourism Australia, David Jones, Country Road, Sportscraft,
EFTPOS, Youi Insurance, WA News, Perth Racing and alongside of some of
Australia's top domestic and international production houses including
Map Ltd, Goodoil Films, M&C Saatchi, Saatchi & Saatchi and The Sweet
Shop.
Dan produced the multi-award winning short films, Something Fishy
(2010) and Crosshairs (2011). He is developing the feature length
documentary "The Brides of Imichil" (2012), the short film
"Boatman"(2012)with Crosshairs director Mike Hoath and the feature
thriller project "Love Me Or Die" (2013) with Carl Schultz (Travelling
North, The Seventh Sign) set in the remote Kimberley.
Dan also has extensive experience and knowledge of Australia and is an
outback and remote specialist using these skills to scout and provide
production consultancy for accessing and working in Australia's remote
but stunning locations including the Kimberley, the Northern Territory
and the Goldfields for a wide variety of photography, television and
film projects.
