Cold Chisel keyboard player Don Walker has revealed that he felt very emotional when he heard late bandmate Steve Prestwich's recording of a new song after his death last year. Shortly before he passed away last January two weeks after being diagnosed with a brain tumour, Prestwich recorded himself singing a track he wrote called 'I Got Things to Do' as a guide vocal for frontman Jimmy Barnes. Walker told the Courier-Mail that he and bandmates Barnes, Ian Moss and Phil Small were shocked and moved when they heard his voice for the first time. Cold Chisel frontman Jimmy Barnes has revealed that he and his bandmates have become much closer since their drummer Steve Prestwich died. In the past year, the Australian band have staged their comeback tour and also recorded their first studio album in 14 years, but Barnes credits Prestwich with making it all happen. Jimmy Barnes has revealed that it was hard for him to find something "good" out of the death of his Cold Chisel bandmate Steve Prestwich. The Aussie band were planning a comeback album when drummer Prestwich passed away after surgery to remove a brain tumour in 2011.
