- Ken Appledorn is an American actor currently working throughout Europe. Originally a mathematics and business major from the University of Michigan he decided to learn the Spanish language in Sevilla, Spain and he began taking acting classes in Spanish at Centro Andaluz de Teatro (CAT) and found in acting his passion.
His first starring role was for Spanish director David Sainz in the webseries Malviviendo and El Viaje de Peter McDowell, amassing over 100 million views nationally and internationally. He has won the best actor award for the independent film "Casting" at the prestigious Malaga Film Festival and has been nominated twice as best Andalucian Actor for the films "The Extraordinary Tale" and "Con Los Anos Que Nos Quedan." Later he would begin working with legendary Spanish comedians Los Morancos both on stage as well as on Spanish television.
He has and continues to work on projects for HBO, Netflix, Amazon, BBC, Apple TV and Movistar+.
And every Tuesday he is available, his voice reverberates on the airwaves of Canal Sur radio, hosting "Los Guiris de Vigorra."
