Grover has a background working in the hospitality industry, as a
volunteer firefighter, retail store manager, working in medical
records, as a country music disc jockey and line-dance instructor. In
2003, he partnered with film director R. Christian Anderson, bringing
his wide and varied background and love of cinema to filmmaking.
Grover produced the feature documentary "When the World Came to San Francisco" (2015) which won the 2022 Andromeda Film Festival's "DaVinci Special Award" for Best Documentary (2022).
On June 25, 2023, Grover won the "Festival Award" as "Best Actor" for his portrayal of Clifton Park in the documentary/drama "When the World Came to San Francisco." The award was given by the "Gladiator Film Festival" in Istanbul, Turkey.
