Director Ananth Mahadevan is all set to showcase Aksar 2 to the audience on the 6th of October. However, he feels that the film is being perceived as an erotica, which it is not. In fact Aksar 2 is a thrilling suspense drama that will keep the audience at the edge of their seats.
“The first Aksar was about a man asking another to seduce his wife, so it automatically lent itself to being a steamy film. But Aksar 2 is not in that genre at all. It is about six people coming together and playing mind games, and then realizing that things can boomerang. It is a classic suspense, old fashioned noir,” explained the concerned director.
The first trailer that was presented to the audience had a couple of love making scenes between Zareen Khan and Abhinav Shukla. However Ananth exclaims that films today do have steamy scenes but...

Having received immense appreciation for the film’s trailer, the makers of Aksar 2 were a tad bit anxious about the reaction from audiences when they recently released the first song titled Aaj Zid.
Especially after the enormous success of the music of the first installment, there was a certain pressure when it came to delivering their first song. Of course they did not disappoint the audience with Aaj Zid which is a rage on YouTube with more than 8 million views and innumerable positive responses!
To this director Ananth Mahadevan said, “Aaj Zid has crossed the 8 million mark invoking memories of the 2006 chartbuster Aksar. With Jaana Ve, we cross further into romantic melody zone and will seal the “album of the year” rating for Aksar 2. The film will be an edge of the seat outing for the full family. The fourth song of Shivaay, is intense and heart breakingly beautiful. Sung by Kailash Kher and composed by Mithoon on Sayeed Quadri’s soul quenching lyrics, the track has a haunting melody.
Picturised on Sayyeshaa and Ajay Devgn, Tere Naal Ishqa like Bolo Har Har Har, Darkhaast and Raatein takes the story forward.
Lyrics by Sayeed Quadri strung beautifully in an intense melody Tere Naal Ishqa is an exploration of Love in its purest form. A prayer that vests in each heart whether for a parent or a partner, the lyrics are multi layered and yet simple to remember.
Kailash Kher in his indomitable style has felt each word and internalised the pain expressed in the lyrics. His voice carries the meaning of the lyrics perfectly. There is a deep pathos in the song, a reverence to the emotion of love. Though others before have dwelled on the word Ishqa,...

R. Balki’s movies aren’t usually known for their music, as Cheeni Kum and Paa had one gem of a song, but Ki & Ka is the exception because it’s quite a funky album. The trailers gave us a snippet of ‘High Heels’ and ‘Most Wanted Munda’ that completely suited the quirky romance which gives a new spin on gender dynamics. Instead, he’s recruited the Meet Bros, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Mithoon, and Ilayaraja for this patchy but fun album.
If you’re thinking you’ve heard High Heels before, you probably have with Jaz Dhami and Yo Yo Honey Singh’s original song that came out in 2012. I actually prefer this version because the duo have removed the cheesy electro beats of the original hook, and have used Aditi Singh Sharma. Sharma kills her verses and delivers them with attitude, especially with the sassy lines “To meri...

There is something around Bollywood that continues to carry its old world charm. When a pair is in love, a visit around the trees is a must. Now that’s the kind of timeless romantic rendezvous Girish Kumar and Navneet Dhillon indulge in as well during the song ‘Mar Jaayen’ from their film Loveshhuda which has just been unveiled.
What catches one’s attention is the fact that the song has been unveiled well in advance, even though the film is around three months away (it releases on 15th January 2016). Now that’s different from the current trend when sometimes songs aren’t heard even when just a fortnight remains for the release. In that aspect, the makers (producer Vijay Galani, audio company Tips) have done well to introduce the music and the cast to the audience so that they get adequately familiarized with what is in store.

Film: "Murder 3"; Music Directors: Pritam Chakraborty and Mustafa Zahid; Lyricist: Sayeed Quadri; Singers: Shafqat Amanat Ali, Kk, Mustafa Zahid, and Nikhil D'Souza; Rating- **** - Minimum tracks get maximum effect.
One thing that sets them apart is that they keep churning out good music again and again, always meeting the expectations. With "Murder 3", one gets a bit sceptical initially as there are just four original songs in the film. However, the air is cleared once you put the tracks on loop. Mahesh Bhatt has roped in our own Pritam Chakraborty and Mustafa Zahid from across the border for the serene compositions that have been.

Arun Daga’s song Salaam zindagi… in Lamhaa is drawing quite a few compliments from the music industry. Lyricist Sayeed Qadri referred him to composer Mithoon. The song featuring Sanjay Dutt conveys a message of peace. But has Daga met the stars yet? “I’ve been invited for the premiere. Maybe I’ll meet them there. But honestly, I’m not eager. I’m the shy kind. I prefer to practise rather than be seen at parties. Maybe that’s why I’m not a known face yet,” Daga says.At the outset, Daga was tagged ‘the singer who resembles Vivek Oberoi’. He laughs, “Even directors wanted me to ...
