It's almost time to head to San Diego, fanboys and fangirls and nerds alike! Comic-Con is slowly rolling out its 2012 schedule, and today, we finally got to see what's in store for us on Friday. This year, "Game of Thrones" and "The Walking Dead" will have a huge presence, filling the enormous Hall H with fans as the cast and creators answer questions about what's to come.
Additionally, Entertainment Weekly has assembled who they believe are genre's most powerful women, from "Fringe" star Anna Torv to "Twilight: Breaking Dawn" vamp Nikki Reed for a panel about the honor and responsibility of playing kick-butt female roles.
If you just can't wait for Fall TV, you'll get a chance to take a sneak peek at geek-bait shows like "666 Park Avenue," "Cult," and "Arrow," which will all screen their pilot episodes and give you the chance to chat with the cast and creators.

Mary Alice: "There is nothing more peaceful than sounds of Wisteria Lane at night...murmur of neighbour's television...hum of the street lamps...song of the nightbirds. Wisteria Lane is so peaceful that even the slightest disturbance can be very alarming." Contestants for Mr. Gay Netherlands
The kind folks at Mr. Gay Netherlands know me all too well and sent over the above picture of a pile of hot men who make up the 12 finalists this year. They include a Palestinian Muslim and an Israeli Jew according to the press release, so perhaps a peace accord can be hammered out? Final judging takes place August 6th, but while one of these guys may be the winner, I don't see any losers. Today's Briefs are very soccer-centric, so we'll get right to the news that soccer has officially come out as gay to TheOnion.com.
British goalie Joe Hart is adorable, and after Robert Green's oopsie over the weekend vs. USA, he's probably the new starter. He's also a gay icon according to the Daily Star.
