Known in some circles as the “fan favorite” award, the title of Miss Congeniality on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” is a prize handed out to the queen most representative of kindness and for having strong sisterly bonds with the other girls. Up until Season 10, the award was voted on by the audience, but has since been selected by the cast of queens themselves, and is buttressed by a cash prize that has ranged from $1,500 to $10,000. There have been 14 queens awarded the title so far, nine of whom have returned to compete at least one more time, and on April 14, 2023 the next recipient will be announced at the Season 15 “Grand Finale.” Which “fan favorite” queen is Your all-time fave? In every grand finale of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” not one but two crowns are bestowed: one to the ultimate winner (chosen by host RuPaul Charles) and one to Miss Congeniality (chosen by her fellow queens). All week long, “Drag Race” viewers at Gold Derby have been predicting who they think will become Miss Congeniality for Season 15, and things are looking strong for Salina EsTitties and Malaysia Babydoll Foxx. Both of these eliminated queens made their mark during their time on MTV’s reality TV show and would be welcome additions to future “All-Stars” seasons.

Over a hundred thousand votes have been cast so far in our Queens Tournament which pits all sixty previous RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants in a bracket style tourney to see who truly is the Ultimate Queen. We’re down to just 16 fabulous ladies, and it’s anyone’s guess who will come out on top.
Round 2, which closed this weekend contained some real nailbiter brackets: Raja beat out Raven by a mere 220 votes, Jiggly Caliente pulled a surprising upset and knocked out Carmen Carrera by a 40 vote lead, and perhaps the biggest upset of all: Jessica Wild put the lid on Pandora Boxx by a mere 18 votes.
For handy reference – here is the overall leaderboard for remaining contestants after Round 2…
1 Jinkx Monsoon 6294 2 Jujubee 5506 3 Raja 5437 4 Latrice Royale 5196 5 Alaska Thunderf*ck 5150 6 Manila Luzon 4707 7 Sharon Needles 4623 8 Chad Michaels 4518 9 Alyssa Edwards 4355 10 Willam 4341 11 Shangela 4246 12 Jiggly Caliente 4191 13 Bebe Zahara Benet 4191 14 Jessica Wild 4110 15 Ivy Winters 3962 16 Nina Flowers...

Over a hundred thousand votes were cast in Round 1 of The RuPaul’s Drag Race Queens Tournament and 32 contenders for the crown are left standing.
A couple of observations about the contest so far: First off, there was a clear winner in almost every single bracket of Round 1. Only one of the 32 matchups was even close. (And kudos to Victoria “Porkchop” Parker who beat out an actual pork chop by four votes!) Things are likely to get far more competitive in Round 2 when the more popular remaining queens start going up against each other.
Second, we included four joke “spoiler” entries in Round 1 to make it an even 64 competitors in the bracket tourney. We didn’t really expect the joke contestants to make it past the first round… and yet three of them did: “a block of mahogany”, 2 piece and a biscuit and “Grumpy Cat”. Here’s hoping they don’t survive the second round.

Logo has been teasing the lineup for this fall's all-star season of RuPaul's Drag Race, but a new promo has finally spilled the beans. So, which queens are back? From season one, Nina Flowers, Tammie Brown, and Shannel are returning; season two alums include Pandora Boxx, Jujubee, and Raven; season three is sending Manila Luzon, Mimi Imfurst, Alexis Mateo, and Yara Sofia; and Chad Michaels and Latrice Royale are coming back from the most recent season. These lip-syncs are gonna be killer.

RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars - Are These Queens Your All-Stars? Update: Yes They Are!
Uh oh... Is there a leak in the RuPaul's Drag Race camp? Or a strategically placed (yet glamorous) red-herring?
While catching up on my Facebook newsfeed, I came across a post from a group called RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars Fans that featured a picture of all twelve contestants who will appear on the show. While there is a lot to get excited for, the official announcement was scheduled to be revealed tomorrow after the season finale of RuPaul's Drag U. So before I give you reasons why this "leak" is a tad bit suspicious, here are your "alleged" queens of RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars!
From Season One: Tammie Brown, Shannel, and Nina Flowers
From Season Two: Pandora Boxx, JuJubee, and Raven
From Season Three: Mimi Imfurst, Yara Sofia, Alexis Mateo,...

RuPaul's reality show only has four seasons under its overly bedazzled belt, but Logo announced Monday that it's launching an all-star edition, "All Stars: RuPaul's Drag Race," reports EW.
The network is calling the second spinoff for the series (the first was "RuPaul's Drag U") a "battle royal," pitting previous seasons' contestants against each other. Producers have 46 past contestants to consider for the show's slots -- but fans get a say over one of them: Online voting on the show's Facebook page will decide a returning contestant (come on, Jujubee and Nina Flowers!), so you betta vote.
The series will consist of six one-hour episodes, airing this fall on Logo.

All-star seasons are an inevitability with most reality competition shows, but RuPaul's Drag Race is getting to the good stuff early on in its run. Logo announced today that after only four seasons, Drag Race will get a six-episode all-star edition, to air this fall. Start discussing your fantasy matchups! Manila versus Jujubee? Pandora Boxx versus Sharon Needles? Will the former winners be invited back? (If so, Tyra Sanchez needs to up her game.) And will Nina Flowers finally get the victory that eluded her the first time?...

RuPaul’s Drag Race aired its final episode of season 3 last week, but that doesn’t mean that you have too long for more queens on Logo. No, silly, the reality show’s spin-off, RuPaul’s Drag U — the series that finds Drag Race alums making over what RuPaul refers to as “biological women” — returns for 10 brand-new episodes on June 20 at 9 p.m., and EW has exclusively learned the list of luminaries serving as guest judges this coming season. As you can see from the photo here, Glee’s Dot Jones — who plays fan-favorite Coach Beiste and is pictured with...

To open the series premiere of RuPaul’s Drag U, RuPaul described the little drag university she’d lovingly created. “Deep in the Titty-Caca Valley,” said the diva, “a school was formed to help biological women unleash their inner diva, and let the world have it!” The ladies, she continued, were “ready to change their lives through the miracle of drag.” Yes, girls and other girls, RuPaul has taken her glamorous lady-eye and turned it toward frumpy gals who need a little help from the other side. The other side, of course, being their lady-boy friends and former RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants,...

Now that RuPaul's Drag Race has injected charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent into the lagging art of reality competition shows, Logo will debut Drag Race's first spinoff series tonight, RuPaul's Drag U, where queens from the original series return to assist everyday women upgrade to more confident, arguably fabulous versions of themselves. And who better to talk to about "fabulous" than season two's second runner-up JuJubee and season one's runner-up Nina Flowers?...

Yep, it’s that time of year.
No, not the time to sip daiquiris alongside the pool or go catch some cool waves at the beach. It’s the time of year to watch summer television!
Truthfully, with most of broadcast television in reruns, it’s mostly cable and reality show offerings. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t something of interest to viewers of gay-related programming.
What’s worth watching this summer? The Great Gay is here to help you decide!
Who is the Great Gay is, you ask? Why, as always, I’m the collective wisdom of all who toil here at AfterElton.com, the sum total of years of endless, stupefying television viewing!
Okay, it’s mostly just me blathering on, with the others yelling at me whenever I get something wrong.

RuPaul's Drag Race is back on Logo (AfterElton.com's parent) and, as usual when it comes to the second season of a break-out hit that no one expected to be a hit, it's exactly the same ... and at the same time "bigger."
The most jarring change is the obviously-improved budget (except when it comes to the grand prize: headlining a Drag Race tour and $25,000?). The production values are much better and the sets and the runway look great.
(Incidentally, it must also be said: RuPaul Charles, the male incarnation, looks like the forty-ish year-old man he is. In drag, he looks at least fifteen years younger. Oh, what a little make-up, lighting, and attitude can do!)
As for the contestants, the show has done another good job of featuring a wide variety of both drag queen "styles" and personality types, although I confess didn't see any totally unique immediate stand-outs,...

"I'm back!" screeched RuPaul at the top of the 9 o'clock hour last night, announcing that, yes ladies, another season of RuPaul's Drag Race — Logo's ridiculously addictive search for America's Next Drag Superstar — had begun. And back it certainly was, fiercer than ever. More contestants, a brighter (although is that a good thing in a drag situation?) workroom, and crazier challenges! Or as Ru put it during her first She Mail delivery: This season's is set to have "more twists and turns than Kim Kardashian trying to wiggle out of a pair of Spanx." EW is pleased to introduce the first contestant who'll be sashaying your way on season 2 of RuPaul's Drag Race: Meet Jessica Wild. The raven-haired beauty (pictured at left in a bustier and door-knocker-sized earrings) is actually the choice of the people -- that is, fans chose her from the slew of wannabes who submitted profiles on RuPaulCasting.com. (The rest of the cast will consist of producer-chosen contestants.) As I'm sure Drag Race fans will remember, last year's fan-voted contestant was none other than delicious runner-up Nina Flowers. So Jessica has a lot to live up to in the show's second season, which is set to debut in early 2010. From the initial information Logo has provided -- and the blog posts and videos Jessica posted on her Logo profile -- here's what we know: Jessica's real name is David.
