Britain's Got Talent impressionist Francine Lewis has told Digital Spy that she would love to stand-in as Cheryl Cole on The X Factor, but drew gasps when she poked fun at the former judge's singing skills.
When asked by DS to test out her impression of Cole by giving a consolation speech to a rejected X Factor contestant, Lewis responded in her best Geordie accent: "I loved you, but maybe stay clear of the singing and mime like me."
Realising that she'd been "naughty" and "shouldn't have said that", Lewis swiftly moved on to some unseen impressions of Janet Street-Porter and Vanessa Feltz.
She also tackled well-know soap characters Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) of Coronation Street and Dot Cotton (June Brown) of EastEnders.
Lewis wowed the judges on Saturday's (April 20) episode of Britain's Got Talent with her impressions of Katie Price, Holly Willoughby, Amy Childs and Stacey Solomon.

Coronation Street star Nigel Havers has admitted that he doesn't yet know the long-term future of conman Lewis Archer's comeback storyline. Lewis returns to screens later this week as he bumps into old flame Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) at a country pub. He later shocks everyone by turning up in Weatherfield, claiming that he is a changed man and wants to make amends for his past misdeeds. However, Havers told itv.com that he is unsure whether Lewis will manage to win back Audrey - and whether he really can be trusted to stay on the straight and narrow. The 62-year-old explained: "Lewis does a runner after first meeting Audrey, because he's so scared of what's going to happen. And then, he thinks to himself, 'Hang on - I better pull myself together'. He turns up in Coronation Street and, quite courageously, says, 'Bring (more)...

Coronation Street star Nigel Havers has promised that his character Lewis Archer will be a "changed man" when he returns to the cobbles later this month. However, an upcoming storyline on the soap will see Lewis decide to finally face the music on Coronation Street after bumping into Audrey and her daughter Gail (Helen Worth) at a country pub. Havers told Inside Soap of his return: "Lewis is a changed man. He's back to apologise and repay the debts he owes. Coronation Street star Sue Nicholls has revealed that a viewer saved her life after noticing a dark mole on her arm. The actress, who plays Audrey Roberts in the ITV1 soap, received a call from ITV's in-house medical centre last summer after a concerned fan emailed the show saying they had spotted a potentially cancerous mole. "One of the nurses told me a viewer had emailed to say they had noticed a mole on my upper left arm and suggested I should get it checked out," Nicholls said. "My first reaction was, 'Oh, how sweet'. I hadn't noticed it getting any bigger and it didn't hurt. It was round and dark and the size of a small pen top." A doctor measured the mole and told Nicholls to return a few months later. Those of us of a certain generation will remember growing up watching BBC children's comedy Rentaghost, which aired between 1976 and 1984.
The series featured a London company run by Fred Mumford, a recently-deceased slacker determined to be more productive than he was during his life. He set up an agency hiring out ghouls and ghosts to the living. Later the business was taken over by Harold and Ethel Meaker.
The regular characters included jester Timothy Claypole (Birmingham actor Michael Staniforth); Victorian gentleman Hubert Davenport (Michael Darbyshire); Hazel McWitch (Molly Weir); Nadia Popov (Sue Nicholls, who went on to play Audrey Roberts in Coronation Street), a hayfever-stricken spook who teleported every time she sneezed; and a pantomime horse called Dobbin.
Well, the whole daft thing is coming back, this time on the big screen. Russell Brand had been set to star as Fred Mumford in a Warner Bros attempt at a movie...
