Little Mix have a lot to answer for. There was a time when girl groups knew their place on X Factor. Miss Frank, Kandy Rain, Hope, Bad Lashes. They all knew that they were merely making up the numbers and that an early Live Shows departure was guaranteed.
Then Little Mix came along, spoiled it all by being rather good at the whole being fun popstars malarkey and suddenly every cobbled-together-at-Boot-Camp collective believe that stardom might be just around the corner.
And so we come to Miss Dynamix, a female three-piece who fitted together like a jam, ham and pineapple sandwich. Never in the entire history of pop have three people possessed such a minuscule amount of chemistry.
Featuring the pregnant one, the tall one and the one that never talked, they were always a walking elimination waiting to happen and after being handed a bye last week, this weekend was a mere formality.

Four judges, two presenters, 12 performances, one Flash Vote twist, and just one or two ad breaks, The X Factor live shows got to quite a start with 1980s week.
Below we round up our top five performances from the live shows, and invite you to vote for your own favourite in our poll.
Tamera Foster - 'Ain't Nobody'
We're not quite sure what Sharon thinks is so "exotic" about Tamera, but she's assured, sexy and - helped out by the best song of the evening - was the most professional. Less poe-tential, but the most ready-made talent on week one.
Rough Copy - 'In The Air Tonight'
Nicole was convinced that these guys are the best band she's ever seen on The X Factor. At this early stage, we'd pitch them above Bad Lashes and below Miss Frank, but we very much enjoyed their arrangement of a Phil Collins classic,...

Over 200,000 people applied for this year’s The X Factor, and after auditions in Birmingham, Cardiff, Dublin, Glasgow, London and Manchester, they have been whittled down to just over 200 who have made it through to Bootcamp.
Some failed to impress while others wowed…but now the fight begins!
In the first of this weekend’s Bootcamp double bill, the remaining acts head to London’s Wembley Arena where the stakes have never been higher and pushed to their limits by Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Guest Judge, Nicole Scherzinger.
Commenting on those through to Bootcamp, Simon says: “I’m going to push them so much harder this year, I mean seriously.”
Louis adds: “They’ve got nowhere to hide, the real competition starts now.”
The acts will be tested like never before, and put through their paces with vocal training and choreography as they battle it out to secure their place at Judges’ Houses.

With all the hype surrounding John and Edward Grimes this week, it is easy to forget that they didn’t actually win The X Factor last year. In fact they didn’t even make it to the final, but still they attract more attention that the winner Joe McElderry.
In an interview with The Sun, Jedward claimed that they weren’t in competition with Joe, but then went on to blast his performing style.
John told the newspaper: “Us and Joe are not in competition, he’s doing his thing and we are doing ours. He sings a ballad and just stands there whereas we make sure we don’t go out there and have anything lacking. We don’t just stand there like a blank page.
“We want to become more solid as John and Edward rather than just X Factor contestants. We know we have to prove ourselves...

Louis Walsh has admitted that he was unhappy to be handed the Groups category on The X Factor this year. The Irish music mogul was assigned the bands for the fourth time in six series on the latest run. He then went on to choose Kandy Rain, Miss Frank and John & Edward as his final three acts. Speaking to The Mirror, Walsh revealed: "My worst moment [on the show this year] came when I got the Groups again. I thought, 'What am I going to do? It's my sixth year and I've had them four times, what am I going to do?'. "Simon [Cowell] and Cheryl [Cole] got the two best categories this year, they had so much to choose from. People think it is staged but you just don't (more)...

The voting percentages for this series of The X Factor have been released. The statistics show that Joe McElderry won the show with 61.3% of the public votes, compared to Olly Murs's 38.7%. McElderry also received the most public votes in week seven, eight, nine and in the first part of the final, which took place yesterday. Danyl Johnson topped the vote in the first week with 27.1%, but only received 6.5% in the second week and 7.6% in week three, when he was in the bottom two with Miss Frank. However, he went on to receive the most votes in week four and week five. The statistics also reveal that John & Edward would have stayed in the competition over Murs if the judges had decided to take the result to deadlock. While the twins had received 10.7% of the vote, Murs had just 9.8%. The other contestants who received the most votes were Stacey Solomon,...

X Factor acts are more likely to be voted off if they perform near the beginning of the show, a new study has suggested. Researchers at Cambridge University used data from 150 rounds of The X Factor and Pop Idol to see whether their running orders had any effect on weekly results. Dr Lionel Page, who was one of the academics behind the investigation, said that no acts have been eliminated after singing last on the current series. He explained: "In week one, Kandy Rain went out and they were second on, in week three Miss Frank left after being third on. John and Edward Grimes went when they were third (more)...

Everybody ready for what promises to be a controversial results show? Cheryl and Dannii are rocking the outlandish frocks, Louis and Simon aren’t. Dermot’s giving us the run-down of tonight’s episode, and the ensemble performance is about to begin…
They’re doing Bohemian Rhapsody tonight. Ambitious! Because Rhapsody is such a long song, they’ve picked out highlights from it, which sounds a little bit like fast-forwarding through the song somewhat. It only gets really good when Brian May and Roger Taylor make their appearance. What? The guitar solo continues while Brian May’s hand is in the air. Seems the contestants aren’t the only ones miming tonight!
Still, nice to see the old dogs rocking the stage. Even if they couldn’t remember Stacey’s name…
Recap time!
Yeah, we get the usual mix of last night’s footage and backstage commentary. Makes me stand...

Miss Frank member Graziella Affinita, has defended John and Edward Grimes and insisted that she is not bitter about losing out to them on The X Factor.
Speaking on The Will Leahy Show on RTÉ 2fm yesterday, Graziella commented: “We love them so much. They’re really good lads.”
“They work really hard and they deserve every minute of this.”
On rumours that the boys had received the most public votes last weekend she said: “I can imagine it happening.”
“They work absolutely hard, day and night. They’ve held such a brave face throughout so much bad press.”...

Graziella Affinita has insisted that Miss Frank will not split up now that they have been voted off The X Factor. The singer said that the girl group, who were put together by the show's judges at Boot Camp, believe that they have a future as a three-piece. "I think we will treat Miss Frank like a baby. We're her parents and we have to nurture her so she does well for herself in the future," she told Digital Spy. "We want a lot from her, because she is our creation. She is one person, created by three strong-minded women. For all women, beside us and beyond us, we want to show no matter where you come from, what size you are, what music you listen to, you can create something as beautiful and golden as Miss Frank." Miss Frank have insisted that Irish brothers John & Edward deserve to still be in The X Factor. The girl group, who were the third act to be voted off the show at the weekend, said that they do not see any problem if the twins continue to knock out more talented vocalists. "People will have their own opinion. We personally love them," Shaniece told Digital Spy. "They are doing their thing, working really hard and I respect them for that. They deserve to be there and I have no problem with them being there. I'm glad they are still in the competition. "They have such a strong backbone and people have been really nasty to them. They just keep going with their heads held high and performing wicked every week. We've seen them progress and grow." Graziella said: "What people (more)...

X Factor rejects Miss Frank, have said that they know why they were voted off the sow last Sunday night. They blame the fact that so many young girls, only vote for boys that they fancy.
Student Graziella Affinita, told The Sun: “I think the girls that watch it tend to vote for boys. That is just the way it works on the show.”
Shar Alexandra added: “Maybe people find it hard to connect to more than one person.
“We are just as vulnerable as one person but we go out there fighting to stay in.”
The girls also think that their style was different to what the viewers were used to, but think that people would have grown to love their vibe.
Shar said: “It was a bit different for The X Factor. But I think people would have warmed to it once they started to understand.”

Miss Frank have become the third act to be voted off The X Factor. The girl group found themselves in the bottom two with Danyl Johnson after the public vote. As a result, both acts had to perform a song of their choice to win the judges' votes. Miss Frank were first to perform, and chose to sing 'Love Don't Live Here Anymore'. Johnson followed them with a rendition of 'With A Little Help From My Friends', which he performed in his first audition. The judges then had to decide who to save. Louis Walsh, who described both acts as "amazing", saved his own act Miss Frank. Simon Cowell, who was next to decide, said that he had never been so surprised by the bottom two. He described it as a "joke" that his own act Johnson was in the bottom two, and chose to send home Miss Frank. Minogue...

The mum of Miss Frank singer, Graziella, has insisted that Simon Cowell made a mistake by forcing her to compete as part of a band. She believes that Graziella would be more successful singing alone.
Julie Affinita told The Mirror: “I believe Graziella would work so much better without the group. Her style is so different. She’s a rapper and hip-hop artist. That is what she has been doing all her life.
“When I saw her perform with the group last week I thought, ‘this is not Graziella – she can do better than that’. When she works on her own she knows what people want. She knows her audience.
