Marcus Webb is creative director and founder of TAPE music & sound design, where he oversees the creative and strategic direction of the company.
Mr. Webb currently has endorsements with music equipment manufacturers such as K&K Sound, MidEast, Picks and Stones and Ram Guitars.
Marcus Webb attended Duke Ellington School of the Arts and received his BFA from Oberlin Conservatory and his Ableton Live and Sound Design Certification from Dubspot NYC.
He's lectured at: NMSU and St. John's University and has taught multi guitar related instruments along with recording and creativity workshops for over 10 years.
Prior to forming TAPE, Mr. Webb worked at Guitar Center Holdings as Instructor Coordinator, Park Triangle Productions as Chief Sound Designer, AOL/Time Warner as Senior Composer & Sound Designer, Riverview Systems Group as Sound Engineer and Studio Assistant at Amber Music NYC.
Webb's compositions live in the landscape of an all encompassing array of texture: from instrumental 50's and 60's Americana guitar twang to world, ambient and various other forms of electronic music.
