Robert James Hoffman is an American actor, vocalist and writer born and raised in Detroit. While studying theatre at U of M, he began working for Carrie Ray casting. There he learned the casting process and mastered the auditioning process with coaching from casting directors with over 20 years of experience. From this he quickly landed representation and went on to star in various national commercials and print jobs for international brands. Soon after booking his first TV appearance "The Wannabees starring Savvy" (Starz) he relocated to Los Angeles and continued to expand in his acting career working with brands such as Google and Burger King.
A multifaceted talent, Robert has co-written and performed vocals on various songs, most notably the lead vocals for 'Get In Line' a track in the film "Teacher of the year" (Jason Strouse). He is also a full time voice actor whose cartoons and animations can be found on RokitFlix, a streaming app for children.
Robert James Hoffman has a knack for drama and comedy. He brings authenticity, vulnerability and charm to his roles and when not on set or in the writers room, he can be found continuously honing his craft at Margie Haber's Studio.
