This article contains spoilers for Gen V season 1.
The first season of The Boys spinoff Gen V is coming to a close this week, and it seems like we’re in for a wild ride as the young supes of God U struggle to decide how to move forward after discovering the true nature of The Woods and its experiments.
With Dean Shetty (Shelley Conn) now dead at Cate’s (Maddie Phillips) behest, the threat of the virus seems to be quelled for now, but that doesn’t mean that Cate’s thirst for vengeance has. In the season finale preview, Cate and Sam (Asa Germann) band together to release the people being held in The Woods and seek justice for the atrocities committed against the young supes of God U. Their friends, however, don’t seem too thrilled by the gleam of violence in their eyes as the campus descends into chaos.

This article contains spoilers for Gen V through episode 4.
The Boys spinoff Gen V is proving to be just as explosive and bloody as its predecessor. Set at Godolkin University, a college for young supes, we’ve already seen the school’s top student Golden Boy a.k.a Luke Riordan (Patrick Schwarzenegger) burn himself in front of everyone, an exploding penis, and Little Cricket a.k.a. Emma (Lizze Broadway) diving through the ear canal of a guard in the mysterious facility known as The Woods.
As if trying to survive the cutthroat politics of God U wasn’t enough, the young supes also find themselves embroiled in a mystery involving Luke’s brother Sam (Asa Germann) and the Vought facility that’s been keeping him prisoner. Now that we’re halfway through the season, things are bound to only get bloodier and wilder from here, especially now that...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Gen V Season 1 Episode 4 “The Whole Truth.”] Gen V is raising the stakes with each episode as the Supes at the center of this college-set tale become even more wrapped up in the shady doings of Godolkin University. After the death of Golden Boy (Patrick Schwarzenegger), the academic institution is paid a visit by investigator Tek Knight (Derek Wilson), who is sent by Vought to find a scapegoat for the late Supe’s downfall. When he surmises that there isn’t anyone good enough to pin the death on, he suggests attaching that guilt to Dean Shetty (Shelley Conn). Ultimately, his intention, as well as Vought’s, is to protect their secret operation known as “The Woods,” where Golden Boy’s brother Sam (Asa Germann) was being held until Emma (Lizze Broadway) helped him escape. While the connection between Vought, The Woods, and Godolkin University remains foggy, executive producer Michele Fazekas says, “We’...

This article contains spoilers for Gen V episode 4.
When episode 4 of The Boys spinoff Gen V isn’t indulging in breathtaking acts of penile violence, it’s introducing something else the flagship franchise is known for: a truly loathsome supe.
Though the term “supe” in The Boys‘ universe is short for “superhero,” everyone knows by now that there’s little heroic about Vought International’s roster of Compound V-enhanced individuals. “Heroes” on The Boys run the gamut from the mostly decent Annie January a.k.a. Starlight (Erin Moriarty) to the bumbling and corrupt The Deep (Chace Crawford) to the outright terrifying and evil Homelander (Antony Starr). And now Gen V has brought us true crime specialist Tek Knight (Derek Wilson), who is malevolent and gross in a way we haven’t witnessed yet.

This review contains spoilers for Gen V episode 4.
“The Whole Truth,” the fourth episode of Gen V, features a dick joke in its first act, a dick joke in its third act, and wedged in-between is a dick exploding like a bloody piñata. Ladies and gentlemen, The Aristocrats …. I mean, The Boys!
The Boys universe has always operated under the ironclad comedic principle of “pee-pees are funny” and Gen V seems to be continuing that tradition. And honestly, it’s hard to argue they’re wrong for doing so. Pee-pees are indeed funny! We’ve seen this borne out in the season 3 opener of the flagship series which saw shrinking supe Termite entering an actual human penis and inadvertently blowing it up (along with the body it belongs to) by a sneeze-triggered rapid growth. Just last week on Gen V we saw another shrinking supe Emma (Lizze Broadway) engage with...

This article contains spoilers for "Gen V" episode 4 — "The Whole Truth."
The latest "Gen V" episode, "The Whole Truth," has finally introduced a character often mentioned on the parent show "The Boys" — Tek-Knight/Robert Vernon (Derek Wilson), one of this world's many super "heroes." In this world, Supes are mostly just media stars and Tek-Knight is no different — in fact, he represents one of the most insidious forms of entertainment out there: true crime.
He is the host of "The Whole Truth with Tek-Knight" (streaming on Vought+) and for his latest episode, he's come to Godolkin University. He's there to teach some criminology classes and film an episode about Golden Boy's (Patrick Schwarzenegger) murder-suicide in the series premiere. Of course, he's not there out of any sense of justice, but as a simple tool for his bosses at Vought — his assignment is to pick a patsy and further cover up the truth.

Josh Futturman (Josh Hutcherson), a world-ranked gamer, still lives at home
with his parents, Gabe (Ed Begley Jr) and Diane (Glenne Headly), and has a dead-end job as a janitor at the sexual disease research centre. His social ineptitude, low esteem and prominent inability to approach women can only be matched by his unparalleled prowess at The Biotic Wars, a dystopian video game where his character, Future Man, has the top ranking in the world. Future Man has traditionally followed gamer and pop culture nerd Josh on his romps through time accompanied by his soldier companions from the future, Tiger and Wolf, and season 3 is no exception. But if the latest trailer is any indication, this time it won’t be about preventing an apocalyptic future filled with Biotics as in season one or about attempts to scrape out a life in a future ruled by a megalomaniac as in season two. The name of the game in Future Man season 3 is survival and escape as all of time threatens to unravel.

Hulu is out with its list of everything that’s coming and going from the streaming service in April, which should come in handy assuming we’re all still in isolation next month due to coronavirus.

Ranked as the lowest opening weekend gross for any 'DC Extended Universe' film, director Cathy Yan's R-rated, $85 million budgeted "Birds of Prey" feature, based on the DC Comics characters, earned $33 million domestic and $46 million international for a worldwide total of $79 million, prompting Warners to retitle the film as "Harley Quinn: Birds Of Prey", banking on the star power of actress Margot Robbie:
Notwithstanding Robbie's bubbly personality, obvious beauty and recent Oscar-nominated turn in the anti-Fox News box office loser "Bombshell", it seems fanboys prefer their super-powered females as 'companions' rather than 'competitors' in the brains and brawn department.

The Birds of Prey are on the loose – and Harley Quinn is certainly reveling in the mayhem.
Building on yesterday’s fantabulous teaser, DC Films has dropped the official trailer for Birds of Prey, a female-fronted spinoff movie from the mind of Cathy Yan and Bumblebee scribe Christina Hodson. Those who attended screenings of It: Chapter Two (another Warner Bros. joint) will no doubt recognize some of the shots in today’s sizzle reel, but this is still a dazzling, neon-drenched promo nonetheless, one which promises color, style, humor, and a whole lotta’ mayhem.
The gist of the plot appears to revolve around Harley Quinn (surprise!), who must forge a super-team alongside Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s Huntress and Jurnee Smollett-Bell’s Black Canary in order to safeguard Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco) from the Gotham underworld. They’ll have a little help from Detective Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez), too, and...

If you haven’t been watching Future Man on Hulu, you’re missing out on a very cool series that I think a lot of you would enjoy. The video game-themed sci-fi series was created by Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir and is being produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
The story for the series centers around Josh Futturman (Josh Hutcherson), a janitor by day/gamer by night who is recruited by mysterious visitors to travel through time in order to prevent the extinction of humanity.
Well, unfortunately the series will be coming to an end after Season 3. While the story started off strong with Season 1, the second season was even better! So, I imagine that the series will close out on a high note as it plays out its final eight episodes.

The good news is, Future Man is coming back for season 3. The bad news is, that's all, folks.
Following on from news earlier this week that AMC's adaptation of beloved comic book series Preacher has been renewed and canceled, Future Man has met the same fate at Hulu.
The time-travelling comedy series, which also comes from Preacher's producing duo of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, along with their Sausage Party pals Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir, will return for a third season before retiring with all its loose ends tied up (we hope).
Future Man stars Hunger Games actor Josh Hutcherson as a slacker gamer who gets pulled out of his day job as a janitor to save the world from extinction by time travellers Wolf and Tiger (Derek Wilson and Eliza Coupe), and season two recently left things on a bit of a cliffhanger -...

Sadly, there’s not much more future for Future Man: Hulu has renewed the Josh Hutcherson-starring sci-fi comedy for a third season, which will also be its last, according to our sister site Deadline.
Hutcherson, of Hunger Games fame, stars as Josh, a janitor whose video-game skills get him recruited by soldiers from the future to help save the world. Eliza Coupe (Happy Endings) co-stars as soldier Tiger, with Derek Wilson (Rectify) playing soldier Wolf. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg serve as executive producers; their AMC action drama Preacher just announced its final season earlier this week as well.

“Future Man” has been renewed for a third and final season, Hulu said Tuesday. The show’s concluding season will be 8 episodes, down from 13 in previous seasons.
The sci-fi comedy stars Josh Hutcherson as a socially inept janitor and world-ranked gamer recruited by time-traveling soldiers to help save the world after he wins an unbeatable game called Cybergeddon. Hulu has renewed “Future Man” for a third season, which will also be the show’s last.
The final season will consist of just eight episodes, while the first two were both 13. The series is led by “Hunger Games” star Josh Hutcherson as a janitor and world-ranked gamer who is tasked with preventing the extinction of humanity after mysterious visitors from the future proclaim him the key to defeating the imminent super-race invasion.
It also stars Eliza Coupe and Derek Wilson. It was created, written, and executive produced by Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir and executive produced by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Matt Tolmach, James Weaver and Ben Karlin.
This marks the second time in as many days that a Rogen-Goldberg show has set its final season. On Monday, it was announced that the AMC series “Preacher,” which Rogen and Goldberg developed for television along with Sam Catlin, would end after its upcoming fourth season.

Hulu’s Future Man will be coming to an end after a third and final season, which will consist of eight episodes. A premiere date is to be determined.
The high-concept comedy, from the Sausage Party quartet of Kyle Hunter, Ariel Shaffir, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, and Sony Pictures TV, stars Josh Hutcherson as Josh Futturman, a janitor by day/gamer by night who is recruited by mysterious visitors to travel through time in order to prevent the extinction of humanity.
Hutcherson and co-stars Eliza Coupe and Derek Wilson will return to reprise their roles in the final season.
After a hot start backed by a significant marketing push, Future Man had a harder time standing out in a very crowded premium content universe with its second season. But the comedy has continued to do great creatively, with Season 2 earning 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, up from 82% for Season 1, earning a...

A Future Man season 3 could resolve another major finale plot twist, but will Hulu renew the season so that fans can see how it turns out?
Given that the show left us on another game-changing cliffhanger as it did in its first season, there will much disappointment among fans if there's not a Future Man season 3 to look forward to. The time travel series really went in a completely different direction this year, saving all of its time jumps for a mind-bending final sequence that apparently had quite grave consequences if Susan, Seth Rogen's cameo character, is to be believed. With the promise of yet another completely different future for Josh, Tiger, and Wolf to navigate, fans are no doubt crossing their fingers for a renewal.

Is the future in good hands during the second season of the Future Man TV show on Hulu? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Future Man is cancelled or renewed for season three. Hulu and other streaming platforms, however, collect their own data. If you've been watching this TV series, we'd love to know how you feel about the Future Man season two episodes. We invite you to rate them for us, below.
A Hulu sci-fi comedy, Future Man stars Josh Hutcherson, Eliza Coupe, Derek Wilson, Glenne Headly, and Ed Begley Jr. The action-adventure series centers on gamer Josh Futterman (Hutcherson). Josh hasn’t amounted to much in the real world, but he’s the top-ranked Cybergeddon player. When he finally beats this supposedly “unbeatable” game, he is visited by Tiger (Coupe) and...

Haley Joel Osment talks about how Future Man Season 2 will find Stu Camillo reaching great heights in a new future of his own design.
This interview is spoiler-free for Future Man season 2.
For some, the name Haley Joel Osment will always be associated with the “I see dead people” cultural touchstone of his childhood role in The Sixth Sense, but in recent years, the actor has taken on some fan favorite comedic roles including that of Stu Camillo in Hulu’s Future Man, which returns for its second season on January 11, 2019. Stu has had a range of personalities depending on the version of history in which he has appeared in the time travel series, but the insecure megalomaniac has always been portrayed as a humorous antagonist. Osment spoke about how his role has grown and what we can expect to see from him in Future Man season...

This January, a mini-deluge of U.K. productions will make their way to the fair shores of the States, including a legal thriller, an espionage thriller and a slightly-less-thrilling coming-of-age drama. Elsewhere, Netflix revives an animated favorite; gives Atlanta’s hardest Mc his own platform; and gets the lowdown on the most catastrophic music festival since Altamont. And thank you, CBS, for rewarding the Star Trek faithful with a sophomore season of its All Access spinoff. Here’s what you’ll be streaming in the start of this fine, fine new year.

“Our mission failed,” Tiger (Eliza Coupe) informs a dazed and confused Josh (Josh Hutcherson) in the opening seconds of Future Man‘s Season 2 trailer — and she’s not kidding. When the fantastically fun Hulu action-comedy returns with its 13-episode sophomore run on Jan. 11, Josh, Tiger and Wolf (Derek Wilson) will see firsthand the helluva mess they made of the future.
