Welcome to this week’s Ring Of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and Suspiria is a horror movie in America and Tuesday in Aunt Carol’s basement. Those pants are slimming on you! Okay, let’s get to more from this fabulous Pure Title Tournament…toots!
Match #1: Fred Yehi def. Silas Young – Block A First-Round Match The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Silas Young has been a fixture in Roh for the better part of the past eight years and is a two-time former World Television Champion. Fred Yehi spent those same eight years competing on the independent circuit and has never stepped inside an Roh ring. While their careers have taken different paths, both men are more than capable of making a deep run in the tournament. Young has a well-deserved reputation for being a tough-as-nails brawler who’s not unwilling to take short cuts.

Match #1: Logan Creed defeated Moonshine Mantell The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
There’s quite the mass of humanity in the ring as Mantell and Creed trade blows but a shoulder tackle sends Moonshine to the mat. Moonshine refuses to relent but the power of Creed is too damn much. Moonshine turns the tide a bit with some corner shoulder thrusts but Creed cracks Mantell with a chokeslam backbreaker. He boots Mantell out of the ring and then does a top rope suicide dive onto Moonshine. Creed tosses Moonshine back into the ring and snaps him down with one powerful powerbomb.

Match #1: King Mo & Ach def. Injustice (Kotto Brazil & Jordan Oliver w/ Myron Reed) The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Ach shows his pure athleticism as he starts off the match with a flurry of offense. He and Mo do a double team hip-toss on Brazil. Mo kicks the legs of Kotto and tags back in Ach. Guest on commentary Dan Lambert says Mo wants checks and he wants gold in Mlw and that’s evident in this match. Kotto Brazil shows his athleticism against Ach, but also shows his underhandedness as he allows his Injustice members to seize attack on Ach behind his back. Lambert makes it clear that...

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling: Fusion review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have the follow-up to the incredible Pay Per View that Mlw had last week. Tony Orlando couldn’t have done better. Someone stole Tenacious D from Family Video…bastards. Alright, let’s rock the sock around the clock of cock…a-doodle-doo!
Match #1: Low Ki beats Timothy Thatcher
My Opinion: 4.2 out of 5 – This was some great stuff. When you here the phrase “easy as pie” that’s how I feel about this match. There were no issues of two guys struggling to find a rhythm or attempting to make the match look legitimate or any-thing like that. Every-thing here was pitch-perfect to the point that having the match end before it went for six hours felt like a waste. This was one of those fights that had action of some...

Match #1: Chuckie T (Chuck Taylor) vs. Kenny King
Chuck Taylor, who was billed as Chuckie T despite being referred to as the former name by the announcers, was looking to make another deep mark into Ring of Honor by fighting the former Roh TV Champion Kenny King, who has been in need of another shot in the arm over the past few months, after losing said title. The crowd took to this from the start, with both fighters getting...

Bellator
Bellator’s season opener went down tonight, and Bellator 123 offered up the best Bellator reasonably had to offer for the start of their year.
There were some key bouts on the card, not the least of which was Put Curran putting his featherweight title on the line against Patricio Pitbull. On top of that there was the Bellator debut of former Strikeforce fighter, and current Tna champion Bobby Lashley – best known from his days in the WWE, where he once helped shave Vince McMahon bald. How Lashley fares in his first few Bellator fights will likely dictate the course his career goes – a solid run in Mma, or back to the world of professional wrestling.
Outside of that fight, there was a heavyweight showdown between Cheick Kongo and fellow former Ufc fighter Lavar “Big” Johnson, and the return of Muhammed Lawal, otherwise known as King Mo, taking on Dustin Jacoby.
