Leisle commenced her TV career in front of the camera as co-host of the
successful C31 Sydney show Chaos TV. She moved on to producing and
presenting weekly comedy segments for Chaos as well as producing and
presenting a weekly C31 show, Community Focus, highlighting people
doing inspiring things in their local communities. After producing and
presenting a pilot of a variety show, Leisle's Latenite Lounge, shot
and post-produced entirely on a digital format, showcasing diverse
up-and-coming musicians, comedians and other creatives.
Leisle was accepted into the Australian Film Television and Radio School. While studying at AFTRS, Leisle discovered her passion for short form content, and the opportunities presented by the emerging web and mobile-based media. Since attaining her graduate diploma in TV Production, Leisle has continued developing this passion, using YouTube to broadcast her existing short form content (Vodules) while conceptualising an exciting new proposition in Digi-media.
Leisle is using her passion and skills to support the emergence of women in emerging digital media and to this end is: Executive Committee member of WIFT (Women in Film and Television), Communications and Brand Director at WIFT, Moderator of the iMentoring on-line project with Media Mentorship for Women, Creator of the very first Digi-Vodules competition for the WOW (World of Women) film festival.
