Welcome to this week’s Ring of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have Kenny King looking to take out the big star of wrestling, Cody Rhodes. Not to dinner, mind you, but King does want to beat Cody in a match. I guess that might be obvious, but King does appear on The Bachelor, so I suppose it is worth saying. What the hell was I talking about? Look out! Here comes tomorrow!
Match #1: Silas Young (representing Bully Ray) defeated The Sandman (representing Flip Gordon) in a Pick Your Punishment Match The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Bully Ray came out first and ordered ring announcer Bobby Cruise to leave the ring. Bully explained the rules of the match: If his representative, Silas Young, defeats Flip Gordon’s representative, Bully gets to choose Gordon’s punishment; and if Gordon’s representative defeats Young,...

Welcome to this review of Ring of Honor’s Best in the World 2018 pay per view! I’m Nathan Favel and I say we don’t waste any time with pleasantries. Here comes the action!
Match #1: The Kingdom beat Los Ingornerbales de Japon – Ring of Honor Six-Man Titles Match
This was a solid opener with lots of action. Both teams looked good here, with Taven functioning very well as the leader of his team. Taven really has come a long way since he first arrived in Ring of Honor. Lidj is consistently entertaining and did not break that streak here. Taven got the pin off of Bushi for the win and the title retention.
Match #2: Flip Gordon versus Bully Ray
Ray disqualified himself after losing several attempts at finishing Gordon, who was ahouse of fire tonight. Several people, such as Eli Isom, Cheeseburger and Colt Cabana, who was on announcing duties tonight,...

Best in the World is the next pay-per-view from Ring of Honor, taking place at the Umbc Event Center in Catonsville, Maryland on June 29th 2018. The event marks the the ninth annual Roh Best in the World PPV and wrestlers from New Japan Pro-Wrestling (Njpw), and Japanese women’s promotion World Wonder Ring Stardom – with whom Roh has partnerships – will also appear on the card – with the pay per view airing this Friday, I thought I’d bring you my brief predictions of each match of the night:
1. Jay Lethal vs. Kushida
This is guilt-free wrestling. I bet this goes on first, just to give every-one a great fight to start the night. I can’t see this as being a failure. Prepare for fast action with lots of mat work in the match’s first act. I’m going with Lethal for the win to further the redemption angle...
