Kim Kardashian's been plenty vocal about how much she loves the result of her nude Paper magazine photo shoot - and confirms it's something she had been planning ever since her days as an expectant mom. At Thursday night's Svedka Vodka-sponsored Paper magazine Break the Internet event with Dkny during Art Basel in Miami, Kardashian, 34, cited an old Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode when she was pregnant and "felt 500 lbs." In the episode, Kim says she told her sisters that she couldn't wait to get back into shape and that when she did, she planned to do a nude photo shoot.

We were directed to wave for the cameras. So, naturally, we assumed that standing somewhere behind us would be a photographer or a step-and-repeat to stand against with our canned smiles. “Look up!” shouted Opening Ceremony’s Olivia Kim, who had invited 50 friends, including architect Rafael de Cardenas, Paper’s Mickey Boardman, and swimsuit designer Lisa Marie Fernandez to an oceanside dinner at the Standard Spa for the holiday edition of her Pop-In curated collection for Nordstrom. There, above our heads, alien-green lights flashed and whizzed. Our paparazzo was a drone.A flying machine, albeit a much larger one, say, a helicopter, was needed to transport us over to the next event of the evening. But with the infamous Miami traffic clogging Collins Avenue, we ran. Why? Because some 3,000 people had been invited to the Jeffrey Deitch x V magazine extravaganza, and the three gates that opened to the Raleigh...

Last week, Kim Kardashian shocked the world with a fully nude spread in Paper magazine and now the editor has come clean about photoshopping the images.
Mickey Boardman handled the pictorial and he told Us Weekly that just like every other publication, he did some fine-tuning on the “Disaster Movie” dame’s images.
Boardman explained, “Every cover of every magazine is airbrushed on some level, but what I will say, is that is her butt.”
"It is not padded. It is not augmented. That is all really her. But, yes, there was retouching to clean things up and make things look amazing. That’s what retouching is. It’s not building an a** that isn’t there or taking 50 pounds off the waist."...

In the aftermath of Kim Kardashian's sexy Paper magazine photo shoot, public reactions have ranged from angry to disapproving to downright hilarious; loads of people, famous or not, have shared memes mocking the scandalous shots, and Glee star Naya Rivera even posted a comment on Kim's Instagram snap that called her parenting into question, saying, "You're someone's mother." Many people may be wondering just why Kim would agree to pose completely nude for Paper, but it's not like she's a stranger to baring it all for magazines - she's posed for Playboy, W, and, most recently, British GQ - and according to Paper's editorial director Mickey Boardman, getting naked for the shoot was "all Kim's idea," adding, "We hadn't planned for her to take her clothes off. She wanted to and it kind of fit." Since there have been so many questions, complaints, and concerns about Kim...

While she’s no stranger to posing in her birthday suit, Kim Kardashian has shocked some of her fans by going full-frontal in the Winter 2014 issue of Paper magazine.
According to editorial director Mickey Boardman, the nude shoot, photographed by Jean-Paul Goude, was proposed by the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” starlet herself.
Boardman told Yahoo, “Kim’s attitude was ‘if we’re gonna do it, let’s do it, let’s really go there.’ And it was her idea to take off her clothes and show more than her butt.”
“But we [Paper] didn’t say ‘let’s do a cover with your butt hanging out.’ She said she was willing to take her clothes off and one thing led to another, and history in the making!”
As for reports that Paper photoshopped the heck out of Kim’s waist, Mickey explained, “[There was] much less [retouching] than people think… That’s really what she looks like…...

The quirky and lovable Mickey Boardman has seen a thing or two while working as editorial director of Paper Magazine, including a handful of celebrities who are quite difficult to work with.
In an interview with BuzzFeed's Amy Odell, Boardman dished about celebrities who were surprisingly easy to shoot for Paper's covers (Lindsay Lohan, Mariah Carey and Prince) and those who were not. The worst ones? Marisa Tomei, Nicki Minaj and Ben Stiller. Although he doesn't go into why Tomei was "not fun," Boardman had a lot to say about the "two weeks of hideous torture" with Minaj.
"The first day of the shoot, she was locked in a room with her hair and makeup team, people whom she picked -- she made them put [all her hair/makeup] on, then take it off," he said. "She would not let anyone from our team, stylists or photographers, talk to her. She came out and it was a mess.
