Jacqueline Simpson, 52, filed a suit with the Brooklyn Supreme court that says she ordered the food at a McDonald's near the World Trade Center and the glass shard ruined her voice.
"Now when I sing, I have a hoarse, rattly voice," Simpson tells The New York Post. "I still sing alto, but I can't sing soprano like I used to."
Simpson says she bit into the glass back in 2010 and that it's had negative affects on her life ever since. According to her lawsuit, the shard was "bigger than a penny." Simpson's day job is as a clerk for the Attorney General, and she says, "I have to make a lot of calls for work, and I have to tell people that I'm not a man. Before, that never happened.
