Dr. J. Duane Meeks has worked in film and video production for the last
twenty years, writing, producing and directing numerous commercials,
music videos, corporate videos and short films.
Since 2002, Dr. Meeks has taught film and television production, directing, and screenwriting at the undergraduate level at Palm Beach Atlantic University. He also serves as Dean of the School of Communication and Media. Previously, Dr. Meeks had taught at the graduate level from 1988 to 2002 at Regent University, where he also served for a time as the Chairman of the Department of Cinema-Television and Theatre Arts.
His most recent major film project was a feature length screenplay adaptation of Francine Rivers' best selling novel "Redeeming Love."
