Kirkland Douglas is an actor from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He is Indigenous and a member of the Cheam First Nation, where his father and grandfather served as elected chiefs.
Kirkland was a child rodeo star, receiving championship buckles as a steer rider and chariot racer. He identifies as gay and two-spirit, and is committed to creating stories he never saw growing up, inclusive of LGBTQ2S+ and Indigenous people. After receiving a Diploma in acting from Vancouver Film School, he worked as an actor on different TV projects including Continuum (Showcase), Untold Stories of the ER (TLC), and various commercials and short films.
