The Donda rapper, Kanye West who now prefers to be known as Ye, is, according to him, in the happiest phase of his life. After what must have been a tumultuous few years – the Kim Kardashian divorce and losing his billionaire status shortly after being dropped by Adidas – he’s apparently finding joy in the people around him. Here’s what he has to say about it.
Kanye West – Says People Around Him Make Him Happy
However controversial Ye may have seemed in the past or even at present, the fact is that he’s living his best life surrounded by “loved ones.”
“This is the happiest I’ve ever been in my life,” the rapper recently told Hybebeast during an interview. “I’m with my wife, with Aus Taylor, my visual director at Yzy, with Dov Charney. All year, I’ve been with loved ones, doing it independently ourselves.

In the early 2000s, American Apparel was taking off in Los Angeles and around the country, selling an irresistible image of sexiness to then-teenage millennials. That was years before founder and CEO Dov Charney was ousted amid sexual misconduct allegations, and before the company infamously filed for bankruptcy. But in the company's heyday, Kate Flannery was there to see it all - a Philadelphia native, she moved to Hollywood in her 20s and worked her way up the American Apparel ranks, eventually managing stores and scouting for models and employees.
She recounts the highs and the lows of being an American Apparel employee in those early days in her new memoir, "Strip Tees: A Memoir of Millennial Los Angeles."In this excerpt, Flannery recounts visiting Charney's home in Los Angeles with other American Apparel employees.

Following Kanye West’s inflammatory White Lives Matter shirts at his Yzy Paris fashion show earlier this month, it was unclear where the graphic T-shirts would end up. But in a video posted by Ian Connor — a West associate and popular stylist who was accused of sexual assault by at least half-a-dozen women — it appears West’s team handed out the shirts for free in Los Angeles’ Skid Row neighborhood Sunday night.

After a controversial and troubling couple of weeks, Kanye West returned to Drink Champs for Round Three with hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ Efn. While the 45-minute interview hasn’t been posted to YouTube, it can be viewed on the Revolt TV website.
After a brief introduction, West immediately went into a diatribe about “the Jewish people,” arguing that he’s not an anti-Semite because he’s also a Jew “as the blood of Christ.” However, he then went on a rant about how the Jewish people control...
