Blanca Gomez was born, and by the age of two, was entertaining her
parents by impersonating her grandparents bickering in Spanish. Blanca
competed in talent shows dancing and singing and in high school
throughout college she performed in numerous productions playing the
lead in "Our Town", "Into the Woods" and Edward II. But it wasn't until
she landed the lead role in the Dallas-based feature film "Green Eyed
Monster" that she finally found what she was destined to do, film.
After college she took the leap of faith and flew to California with
one pink suitcase and all the faith in her heart. In LA she has
expanded her repertoire with classes at the Upright Citizen's Brigade,
kick-boxing training, and voice over classes. She played a dual role in
"La Verdad Beginnings," starring, co-producing and co-writing.
Recently, she starred in the feature "Asphalt Angels" playing 16
year-old Virginia. And most recently, she sang with Lee Curreri, who is
producing an album with a number or recording artists to raise
awareness for autism. Blanca is bilingual and speaks Spanish due to her
Spanish, Mexican heritage, however with her green eyes she is cast in
multiple roles making her ethnically ambiguous. She aims to inspire
others and continue to keep challenging herself with every character
she takes on.
