Congratulations to Jules O'Dwyer and her loveable border collie Matisse who won Britain's Got Talent last night (May 31). We must admit we came over a tad teary-eyed when Matisse's three-legged collie companion Skippy made his debut in their final act.
Last night's final prompted us to look back at all eight winners from the ITV talent show to see how they faired after their victories.
From Collabro to Pudsey the dog - which acts have had the most success post-bgt? Here's our ranking below:
1. Paul Potts
Paul Potts stunned the judges, audience and viewers of Bgt alike with his breathtaking rendition of 'Nessun Dorma' on the ITV talent show's first run in 2007. His audition became a YouTube sensation and was later confirmed as the fourth most viewed YouTube video in the UK.

In just over 24 hours' time, the 11 finalists on Britain's Got Talent will take to the stage one last time in an attempt to prove their worth (and win some money and a spot in the Royal Variety Show, of course). While it's hard to believe, the victorious act will be the eighth to take the crown.
Over the years, there has been a bit of a range of acts - we've had everything from dancers (George Sampson and Diversity) to singers (Paul Potts, Jai McDowall) to a gymnastic dance troupe (Spelbound) to a dog (Ashleigh & Pudsey) to well, whatever you would count Attraction as.
So, a variety, then. But this year, the complaints about too many singers - which have always bubbled in the background - have really started to gain ground. Are there just too many this year?

Britain's Got Talent returns to our small screen on Saturday (April 12), and we've already been treated to a sneak peek at some of the acts we can expect to see on stage during the show's premiere.
But whatever happened to some of the show's most memorable acts from years gone by? What have they gone on to do following their appearance on the ITV talent show, we hear you ponder? Wonder no more with some of Bgt's past performers - from stand-out stars to the plain strange:
Faryl Smith
Mezzo-soprano Faryl Smith - then aged just 12 - blew the judges away and probably made Amanda Holden break down and blub with her beautiful rendition of 'Ava Maria' on the show in 2008.
Following her accomplishment as a finalist on the show, the singer signed a contract with Universal Classics and Jazz and released her debut album Faryl in March 2009. It went...

Ant & Dec have suggested that they haven't closed the door on children's television.
The duo first found fame as Pj and Duncan on Byker Grove, and went on to host Saturday morning show Sm:tv Live with Cat Deeley between 1998 and 2001.
Speaking to The Sun, Ant McPartlin said: "It's a real shame there's not a Saturday morning kids' show on ITV or BBC. There should be one.
"We talked about it with ITV and said we'd love to get involved as we really miss it."
The pair - who are set to host three shows this year, Saturday Night Takeaway, I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and Britain's Got Talent - also addressed some of the lower points in their career.
McPartlin said: "Everyone says, 'Oh, everything you guys do turns to gold', but it doesn't. Look at Red or Black. That didn't do what we all hoped it would do.

Will David Walliams finally kiss Simon Cowell? How many times can Amanda Holden cry in one week? Why isn't there a dancing dog on the bill? There are lots of questions hanging over this week's Britain's Got Talent Live Semi-Finals and hopefully we'll get some answers over the next six days.
The first semi-final this evening features the usual smattering of singers, dancers, oddballs and Wtf-are-they-doing acts, and as always Ant & Dec are challenged with holding the whole thing together while a circus of tears and tantrums surrounds them.

The Britain's Got Talent auditions are always a mixed bag when it comes to entertainment. There's only so much that the horsing around of David Walliams and Simon Cowell can do to mask the mediocre talent and predictable sob stories.
However, when it comes to the live semi-finals, the show morphs into an entirely different and much more enjoyable beast. Tears, bust-ups, disastrous novelty acts who don't seem quite so funny second time around and Walliams prancing around Cowell like Frankie Howard on speed.
Unlike The X Factor it is nigh on impossible to predict the results on Britain's Got Talent. Susan Boyle and Ronan Parke looked like dead certs to be singing for the Queen, but came up short in their finals.
And who makes it through from the semi-finals is even harder to predict. The luck of the draw - the first and final heat are usually the...

Britain's Got Talent winner Jai McDowall has been dropped by his record label. The singer, who won the show last year, signed a joint deal with Syco and Sony back in August 2011 and reached number 54 on the UK album chart with his debut record Believe. However, McDowall, who met Simon Cowell just once following his victory, was recently informed via his management that Sony would not be renewing his one-album deal. "I don't think I got as much support as I was hoping to get. When you're on a show like Britain's Got Talent, it's one of the biggest shows in the country at the time. But it got to the stage where I started thinking, 'What went wrong?', especially when you see all these other stars coming out of reality shows," he told the Daily Mail. Simon Cowell has admitted that he is "disappointed" with last year's Britain's Got Talent winner Jai McDowall. The Scottish singer was a surprise victor over Ronan Parke in the final of 2011's show. His debut album Believe was released last month, but only reached a peak of 54 on the chart. Speaking following the launch of Britain's Got Talent series six on Friday (January 20), Cowell confessed that he did not see the former support worker as a "genuine star". Amanda Holden has revealed that she is looking for non-singing acts to win this year's Britain's Got Talent. Holden admitted that she was disappointed with last year's victor, Scottish warbler Jai McDowall, and claimed that Got Talent will always suffer badly from X Factor comparisons if it focuses on singing talent. "I would love for a singer not to win. Singers are the things that grab at you and immediately audiences have an affinity with, but it's not X Factor," Holden told Digital Spy. "So I would love an elephant. A juggling elephant. Simon Cowell wants a guitar-playing dog. We could have a whole band. The Pedigree Chums." Jai McDowall Britain's Got Talent
Britain’s Got Talent ended two months ago and we had assumed that Jai McDowall wasn’t going to land that lucrative recording contract that most show stars hope for with Simon Cowell.
However it has been revealed that weeks after signing series runner up Ronan Parke, the music mogul has decided to back winner Jai and offered him a deal with his record label Syco.
The former support worker has been performing solidly ever since he won the ITV talent show in May and is now beginning to prepare for his big performance at the Royal Variety Performance later this year.
However, The Sun has revealed that the 24 year old has also recently started work on his debut album, which will most likely be released in 2012 in a join deal between Syco and Sony Music.

It was a weird exchange of birthday messages, but last night, American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez tweeted a special celebratory message to Britain’s Got Talent winner Jai McDowall.
The singer and actress has spent the last three days celebrating turning 42 in Miami – enjoying a posh dinner, a boat cruise and a night on the tiles of an exclusive club – while the Scottish singer celebrated his 25th birthday in a rather more low key manner we would assume.
While spending time on Twitter last night, Jai discovered that he shares a birth date with both J-Lo and Jay McGuiness from The Wanted.

Britain's Got Talent runner-up Ronan Parke has reportedly landed a joint record deal with Simon Cowell's Syco label. The 12-year-old lost out to Scottish singer Jai McDowall in the latest series of the ITV competition, which concluded last month. Jai McDowall Britain's Got Talent
