[This story contains spoilers from The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live.]
Years after his presumed death, Rick Grimes is not only alive and well, but fully back in action.
By the end of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, the Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira-starring and produced limited series, the powerhouse duo of Rick and Michonne officially reunited. Not just with each other, but with their family and friends. Having dismantled the nefarious Crm from the inside, the titular “ones who live” earned their way back to the Alexandria safe zone they called home for so many seasons, with Rick reuniting with his daughter for the first time in years, and meeting his son Rj for the first time ever.
All’s well that ends well, right? Just one problem: it ain’t over just yet.
While Lincoln, Gurira and franchise overseer Scott M. Gimple have all stopped short of promising another team-up in the future,...

The Walking Dead, the long-running post-apocalyptic horror series based on the comic books by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard, has finally come to an end after 11 seasons and 177 episodes. The show, which premiered on AMC in 2010, followed a group of survivors led by former sheriff Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) as they faced the threats of zombies, hostile humans, and their own inner demons in a world overrun by the undead.
The final season of The Walking Dead, which was split into three parts, adapted material from issues #175–193 of the comic book series and introduced two new factions: the Commonwealth, a large network of communities that had advanced equipment and over fifty thousand survivors living in their settlements; and the Reapers, a mysterious group of hostile survivors that attacked and took Meridian, the former home of Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and her new people, the Wardens.

There will be no third season of Blood & Treasure.
The treasure-hunting drama has been canceled after two seasons, according to TV Line.
No reason has been given for the cancellation, but the writing was on the wall when the show was renewed in 2019 while the first season was airing, and then the show disappeared.
It started its life on CBS, but it was announced in 2022 that the series would return with its long-delayed second season that year.
Given the length of time between seasons, many assumed the show was dead.
Fueling the rumors that the show was dead even more was that the cast moved on to other projects.
Co-creator Matthew Federman wrote the following on Twitter on the day of the Season 2 finale airing.
"I don't know what the future holds but I'm very proud of what we got to do with this show, shooting our little action...

Killer Collectibles highlights five of the most exciting new horror products released each and every week, from toys and apparel to artwork, records, and much more.
Here are the coolest horror collectibles unveiled this week!
Universal Monsters Bobbleheads from Neca
Neca will add four Universal Monsters to its Head Knockers line of bobbleheads in August. Priced at 34.99, Dracula, Frankenstein, Bride of Dracula, and The Wolf Man are made of hand-painted resin and stand 8″ tall.
The sculpts are pretty fun on these, although I’m not sure why the necks are comically long when Neca’s other bobbleheads don’t have that issue. The prototypes are pictured, so maybe they’ll iron that out before production.
B’Twixt Now and Sunrise: The Authentic Cut Blu-ray from Lionsgate
2011’s Twixt was an ambitious, if flawed, Gothic horror film from the great Francis Ford Coppola that failed to land with critics and audiences alike.

The Walking Dead has come to an end after 11 seasons and 147 episodes.
While the world of the programme will continue to be explored in a series of spin-offs, the main show drew to a conclusion in a finale that aired on Sunday (20 November).
As was expected and hoped for by viewers, the finale featured showdowns, nostalgic callbacks and returning faces.
But how did The Walking Dead end?
*Spoilers follow – you have been warned*
The series tied up the Commonwealth storyline by sparing the life of Pamela Milton (Laila Robins), the villainous governor who was happy to let her people die while she was holed up in a gated community.
All the characters, with the help of Pamela’s one-time compadre Mercer (Michael James Shaw), banded together to imprison Pamela. They also detonated the horde of walkers – who had developed the ability to fight back – that had overrun the Commonwealth.

It’s hard to talk about “The Walking Dead” without talking about death. It built its reputation as a show where anyone could be killed off, and indeed, it turned over roughly a third of its cast every season in its early years.
It’s been a long time since death truly drove the story forward. With multiple spinoffs on the horizon, the show struggled throughout its final season to retain the suspense of the series’ salad days, when seemingly anyone could die at any time. If Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) are all slated to star in new series, any time their lives are purportedly in danger, the dramatic tension of whether or not they’ll make it out alive has been cut off at the knees.
But even with the three most visible characters in the series off the table, a cast...

This The Walking Dead review contains spoilers.
The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 19
The opening montage of this week’s The Walking Dead asks an important question of both its survivors and the audience: does it take more courage to live than to die in this environment? It’s underscored by a montage of Eugene (Josh McDermitt) and his lower moments, from begging Abraham (Michael Cudlitz in flashback form) to save his life to joining up with Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) during the Savior days. Eugene has never had the courage to die, but he’s always been able to find a way to live, thanks in no small part to his talent in prevarication (Aka lying) when needs must. Now, Eugene faces his hardest challenge to date. Will he flee to safety with Daryl (Norman Reedus), Rosita (Christian Serratos), and the rest of his friends, or will he stay behind...

There are spin-off and companion shows that will continue and more spin-offs on the way, but The Walking Dead itself will soon be coming to an end. There are only eight episodes of the show left, and those episodes are scheduled to begin airing on October 2nd. AMC+ subscribers will be able to watch two new episodes on that date, and going forward new episodes will reach AMC+ a week before they air on AMC.
This final batch of episodes, which is called The Walking Dead Season 11C, has the following synopsis we’ve seen before:
In the upcoming final episodes of The Walking Dead, threats lurk around every corner, dead and alive, as each group continues to get caught in uncontrollable situations. The looming pressure is cresting towards a day of reckoning for all. Will the sum of their individual journeys cumulate into one, or divide them forever?

So about those walkers that can climb walls and open doors… “These rules are a little different,” The Walking Dead star Josh McDermitt (Eugene) noted about that terrifying moment in the Season 11C trailer. There have been some similar moments over the years (like the little girl picking up the stuffed animal and Morgan’s wife reaching for the doorknob), he added. “So the fact that we may be seeing some of that again and kind of raising the stakes in that sense is exciting.” McDermitt, Norman Reedus (Daryl), Lauren Ridloff (Connie), Michael James Shaw (Mercer), Seth Gilliam (Gabriel), and Cailey Fleming (Judith) sat down with Emily Aslanian in the TV Insider and TV Guide Magazine studio, sponsored by Hollywood unBranded at San Diego Comic-Con 2022 to discuss saying goodbye (it was Twd‘s last Sdcc panel!) and tease where we’ll find their characters when the final episodes begin. Just like the show’s many fans, the cast and creatives behind “The Walking Dead” are feeling pretty bittersweet about the impending end of the show — the final run of 8 episodes will launch on AMC Sunday, Oct. 2.
The panel was hosted, as always with “The Walking Dead” Sdcc presentations, by Chris Hardwick, who set the tone with a partly joking, partly teary eyed remembrance of his own “The Walking Dead” history.
Noting the “bittersweet moment where I introduce our ‘Walking Dead’ family as an official show” for the final time, he also said “I’m trying to not get choked up, because this should be a celebration. Most shows don’t get to last this long, this is rarified television.”
“This show is literally one of the biggest shows in the history of cable. Everywhere I got [I speak to people about it] and they feel like family,” he added.

Today at Comic-Con, The Walking Dead‘s Norman Reedus teased that the “Daryl-Carol story isn’t over yet”—referring to the relationship between his crossbow-wielding apocalypse survivor and Melissa McBride’s.
Comic-Con 2022: Deadline’s Full Coverage
It’s not clear what Reedus was hinting at today, even if Daryl and Carol have been close since the series’ inception. But Reedus’ comment was particularly notable in considering the Daryl spinoff, first announced in September 2020, which is set to premiere next year. While his longtime Twd co-star McBride was originally set to join him in the new series—reprising her role as Carol—she exited the project in April of this year. AMC cited travel logistics as the reason for her departure, with co-stars Reedus and Jeffrey Morgan among those defending her from substantial fan backlash that followed, as Reedus took the blame for her exit in some corners. “Some of...

It truly is the end of an era, The Walking Dead fans.
The AMC drama took to San Diego Comic-Con one last time on Friday, ahead of the premiere of the final eight episodes on October 2.
The panel featured cast members Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Christian Serratos, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Seth Gilliam, Josh McDermitt, Michael James Shaw, Cailey Fleming, and Lauren Ridloff.
Fans were treated to an extensive trailer for the final episodes during the panel.
It was a climactic trailer that highlights the fact that the mothership series is coming to a close.
It will be difficult to say goodbye, but thanks to the power of spin-offs, we won't be saying goodbye to all of these characters.
One of the biggest shockers of the trailer involves the super-powered walkers we met on the series finale of Twd World Beyond.

Blood & Treasure Season 2 will finally see the light of day.
As previously reported, Paramount+ will air the long-delayed second season, beginning Sunday, July 17th with two episodes.
Subsequent episodes will drop weekly on Sundays.
The decision means that viewers who watched on CBS will no longer be able to keep up to speed unless they watch on the streaming service.
The move to streaming worked for both Seal Team and Evil, with both shows scoring renewals following their launch on the streaming service.
It's unclear whether the long wait between seasons will affect the negotiations for a third season.
It's hard to believe any of the cast is still under contract, so it might be difficult to get everyone back together.
Blood & Treasure is a globe-trotting action-adventure drama about a brilliant antiquities expert and a cunning art thief who team up to catch a ruthless terrorist who funds his attacks through stolen treasure.

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 15
Everyone in the world of The Walking Dead is keeping an impressive amount of heavy secrets. For Ezekiel, his dark secret is also his way to spread a little light into a world sorely needing it. Democracy might die in darkness, but The Commonwealth thrives in foggy dusk and bruised dawn light and the true currency is secrecy.
However, the darkness carried can overwhelm even the strongest shoulders, and even the darkest heart can be overcome with worry, even if it’s only the selfish fear of discovery that motivates. Throughout “Trust,...

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for The Walking Dead Season 11, Episode 12, “The Lucky Ones.”] In this week’s The Walking Dead, we learn a little more about why Maggie (Lauren Cohan) seemed to be at odds with her old pal Daryl (Norman Reedus) and the Commonwealth in the midseason premiere’s final minutes. Whether or not she should be is perhaps another question entirely — simply put, while folks in Ohio are thriving, Maggie’s just surviving. Barely. We also learn Max’s (Margot Bingham) side of the story with the whole Eugene (Josh McDermitt) debacle, and Ezekiel (Khary Payton) gets called in for surgery. Here’s how it happens. Josh Stringer/AMC Commonwealth leader Pamela Milton (Laila Robins), Lance Hornsby (Josh Hamilton), military leader Mercer (Michael James Shaw) and Daryl, along with a group of soldiers, all head for Alexandria and its surrounding communities. It’s Lance’s aim to show Pamela what the Commonwealth would...

The 11th and final season of AMC Network’s “The Walking Dead” took a ratings hit in its linear premiere compared to its most recent season opener nearly two years ago. But viewership was on par with the Season 10 finale in April, proving there’s life in the franchise yet on linear TV even as more people watch online via AMC’s streaming platform.
The premiere episode that debuted at 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22 delivered 3.2 million total viewers, including 1.6 million in the adults 25-54 demo, and 1.2 million in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen’s just-released live-plus-3 ratings. Last season’s debut episode in October 2019 garnered 4 million total viewers and a 1.44 rating in adults 18-49.
Cable ratings have dropped collectively since “The Walking Dead” bowed in 2010, but the massively popular Robert Kirkman and Image Comics flagship adaptation, which has spawned three spinoffs and other projects in active development, remains a Top...

Though the ratings have dropped quite a bit, The Walking Dead has remained the highest-rated scripted series on AMC. Now, it's been decided that there won't be a 12th season but spin-offs are in the works. Will the cable channel execs regret the decision to end the original show? Could the original Walking Dead series return someday? Stay tuned.

The following contains spoilers for The Walking Dead comic.
Perhaps the most iconic armor in all of pop culture is that of the storm troopers in Star Wars. Clean, imposing, yet disposable, the shiny white duds perfectly capture the sanitized yet all-powerful nature of The Empire. It only makes sense then that, when introducing its own Empire of sorts, The Walking Dead looked to those same storm troopers for style inspiration.
When Eugene, Yumiko, Ezekiel, and Princess arrive in The Commonwealth in The Walking Dead season 10, they know that they are immediately dealing with a formidable community. While folks back in Alexandria starve, The Commonwealth apparently has enough resources to allow its guards to cosplay as white-armored super soldiers. What’s more is that one of the those soldiers gets distinctive orange armor. It’s through that armor that we know the character wearing it, Mercer (Michael James Shaw), is not to be trifled with.

Unlike the readers of the original comic by Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard, The Walking Dead TV series fans are going into season 11 already knowing that this is the end of the road for many of their favorite characters. As the Commonwealth opens its gates to our heroes, the show also reaches the final section of its source material, whose 16-year run came to a shocking, unexpected end with issue #193 in 2019.
While things on the show won’t play out exactly like in the comics, AMC has still cast many of the characters who played a pivotal role in that final Commonwealth arc, including Michael James Shaw (Avengers: Endgame) as military commander Mercer and Laila Robins (The Blacklist) as Governor Pamela Milton, the leader of the massive post-apocalyptic settlement. And like in the comics, she won’t be the only Milton in charge on the show.

Through its 10, soon-to-be 11, season run, The Walking Dead has enjoyed some of the best trailers in the game. Cutting together many episodes of zombie violence into a three-minute package (often accompanied by a haunting acoustic tune) must be a video editor’s dream.
With its appearance at 2021 San Diego Comic-Con (still operating remotely under the Comic-Con@Home banner), The Walking Dead unleashed another banger of a trailer. Much of it is the boilerplate zombie action that we’ve come to expect, but stay tuned to the very end for a special orientation video. Check it out below:
While The Walking Dead producer Scott Gimple and showrunner Angela Kang have made little effort to hide the fact that the community Eugene and company find themselves in is “The Commonwealth” from the comics, this trailer finally confirms it. And what better way to officially introduce The Commonwealth into the Twd canon than...
