Angel Espino
- Additional Crew
Born in Havana Cuba, Angel Espino escaped a life of slavery when his
mother decided to bring her two boys to America in 1980. Raised in
between Miami, California, and New Orleans Angel Espino has grown to
adapt to the culture of any city he's in.
In 1986 Angel and his family moved full time to Miami Florida where he has remained since. Early in the mid 90s Angel discovered he wanted to create music so he started to rap with friends from school, and formed a group called "The New Logic" which lasted all but 2 years together. Once the group split up Angel kept the name of "New Logic" and created his entertainment company using that name.
In 2005 Angel scored the movie "Motel" for friend, and co-director Jason "Shadow" Urquist who also produced, and edited the film. Due to issues with the other director Tico Herrera the film is still in the can, and has not seen the light of day. This movie would have marked his debut in scoring films.
After a few years of learning how to produce hip hop music Angel had a car accident which almost left him paralyzed in 2009. While working his way back from the injury he started to host an online radio program called "Tha Jackals Head" which has now spun off into syndication on two networks.
Late 2010 he also started to work on another show with Michael "Outtasite" Singleton for the same stations, and is still currently co hosting that show.
"The future brings hope, and hopefully success." Said Angel Espino when asked about his future plans with a movie he's currently scripting called "The Cemetery" which is based of the story "Cemetery of Lust" by Giovanni Sticco.
That movie will be directed by Jason "Shadow" Urquist, and produced by Angel Espino. More details will soon come out about the film.
