Rebel Wilson claims a Hollywood actor has “threatened her” after she revealed her intention to name and shame him over his previous behaviour in her forthcoming memoir.
The Australian actress previously stated she would be dedicating a whole chapter in her book, Rebel Rising, to a “massive a**hole” she once worked with. The book is scheduled for release April 2.
Now, Wilson has written on social media, claiming that the same man has hired a team to try to stop her writing about him.
She said on Instagram Stories: “Now the a**hole is trying to threaten me. He’s hired a crisis PR manager and lawyers. He’s trying to stop press coming out about my new book. But the book Will come out and you will all know the truth.”

This week’s new film release may seem like more of a Summer escapist flick with an average Joe traveling across the globe and acting like the ole comic trope “the fish out of water”, That notion is somewhat re-enforced by the film’s star, who’s mostly known for musicals and comedies, and by the movie’s marketing team, who are ‘selling it” as a zany romp, Much as with Dog from earlier this year, don’t judge a flick by its cast or ads. That’s because the story’s protagonist is headed to Vietnam… in 1967, the definition of a “hot spot”. Now if this mix of whimsy and social/political upheaval in the “swingin’ 60s”, sounds a bit like the recent Best Picture Oscar winner The Green Book (which was set five or six years before this), well you’re pretty perceptive because this is from the...

The Walking Dead: World Beyond Season 2 will feature the return of a long-gone character from The Walking Dead.
AMC announced today that The Walking Dead’s Pollyanna McIntosh has joined the cast of The Walking Dead: World Beyond’s ten-episode second season premiering October 3 at 10:00p.m. Et/9c on AMC.
McIntosh will reprise her role as Jadis” a fan favorite from the Walking Dead, which should leave fans with a lot of questions.

Heck, this might mean we'll finally get some intel on what became of Rick.
Then again, the franchise might want to save those reveals for, you know, the trilogy of movies announced.

Nine Perfect Strangers is shaping up to be a huge success for Hulu.
Per Deadline, the Nicole Kidman-led miniseries was the most-watched Hulu original ever on premiere day as well as after five days of the three-part premiere being made available.
The streaming service previously announced that The Handmaid's Tale's fourth season finale was the biggest Hulu original on premiere day ever, so for Nine Perfect Strangers to already overshadow that metric, it's a good sign for the future of the series.
As has become the norm with the streaming service, no concrete numbers have been revealed, which means these claims from the streamer should be taken with a pinch of salt.
It's possible the series could appear on the Nielsen streaming chart shortly if the numbers are as big as the streamer states.
The limited series takes place at a health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation...

The Walking Dead’s second spinoff, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, promised…well, a world beyond the usual Twd storytelling possibilities.
In that regard, the AMC series about four precocious youths 10 years into the zombie post-apocalypse mostly delivered. Season 1 of the show, which premiered last October after a Covid delay, picked up in Nebraska at the Campus Colony of Omaha before heading out on a cross-country adventure. In the process, the show formally introduced the Civic Republic, and its military arm (the Crm) that seems set to become a major antagonist for The Walking Dead franchise for years to come.
Despite bringing exciting new antagonistic toys for The Walking Dead’s sandbox to play with, World Beyond is somewhat unusual compared to its companion series. While The Walking Dead is finally set to conclude with its 11th and final season beginning on Aug. 22 and first spinoff Fear the Walking Dead...

The Walking Dead: World Beyond's short run will conclude with its second season.
Based on our first look at the second season, it looks like the spinoff will finally live up to its potential.
If there was one thing I despised about The Walking Dead: World Beyond Season 1, it was the slow nature of it all.
Now that the truth is out there about Huck's connection to Elizabeth, it should result in some bigger swings.
Then, there's the whole connection to the Civic Republic Military. To date, they've been shadowy figures doing questionable things, meaning it's tough to understand their machinations.
Using Huck as an entrance to that world will probably benefit the story greatly because she was one of the standout characters of the first season.

Just like 2020, there’s going to be a lot of the zombie apocalypse on the small screen this fall.
In a move reminiscent of last year’s Comic-Con@Home, The Walking Dead: World Beyond on Saturday unveiled the premiere date for its second and seemingly final season. The limited-series spinoff that follows the first generation raised in the post-apocalyptic world will return to AMC on October 3.
Along with that debut date, World Beyond during its virtual panel today rolled out a clip from the 10-episode second season of the Scott M. Gimple- and Matt Negrete-created show — and things have gotten bloody, to say the least:

Nine Perfect Strangers ... or A Cure for Wellness?
The full-length trailer for Hulu's Nicole Kidman drama debuted Tuesday on Good Morning America, and it looks fun.
The limited series takes place at a health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living.
Watching over them during this ten-day retreat is the resort’s director Masha (played by Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies.
However, these nine “perfect” strangers have no idea what is about to hit them.
The series comes from David E. Kelley, who Kidman previously worked with on Big Little Lies and The Undoing.
One of the biggest moments of the trailer shows the characters literally digging their graves.
Is that a sign of things to come, or is it all part of what's on tap to save their lives?...
The full-length trailer for Hulu's Nicole Kidman drama debuted Tuesday on Good Morning America, and it looks fun.
The limited series takes place at a health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond Episode 8
The implications of Silas killing his father have followed the character around during his journey on The Walking Dead: World Beyond. Throughout his arc in the first season, that hint of violence, potential or actualized, has been the thing Hal Cumpston has projected most strongly. Not threatening, per se—Silas has never looked like a direct threat to anyone, shrinking back rather than using his size to menace—but fear. Silas is afraid of himself in a way the other characters are not, and that hints more strongly than his zombie-bashing fugue state that he’s done some Very Bad Things. These haven’t been explicitly detailed, just hinted around with almost subliminal flashbacks, until this week, where the whole bloody affair is revealed in full.
The episode is divided pretty distinctly between two running plot threads.

This The Walking Dead: World Beyond review contains spoilers.
It didn’t take long for Silas to reach critical mass. The moment another competitor for Iris’s attention came along, the danger meter slowly began to creep higher with every passing moment. The Walking Dead: World Beyond hit that point with a hammer. Iris and Percy laughing in the foreground, Silas starting daggers at them in the background. The two making plans to meet up after dark for what sounds like a make-out session? Silas lumbering in the distance, head down and ears open. Silas was the first person to sniff out that Percy was untrustworthy, and his reward for that was to have Percy and his uncle Tony join the group as full-fledged members and for Percy to swoop in and start making time with one of the two girls in the group...

The Walking Dead: World Beyond Episode 6
Perhaps I’m just projecting the character of Abraham onto the actor, but as a director, Michael Cudlitz seems to be able to have fun with his material, no matter how dark. Throughout “Shadow Puppets,” there are a lot of fun little touches and moments to lighten things up and serve as an effective tension break during some of the more nervous moments. Towards the end of the episode, as Iris is skulking into an abandoned department store, there are two back-to-back scares, one a fake-out involving a mannequin that’s really amusing, then a legitimate one where a walker, out of nowhere, thrusts a hand out of a gated area into the middle of a scene in which Iris and Percy are talking. That’s one of the biggest jumps The Walking Dead: World Beyond...

The Walking Dead: World Beyond Episode 4
A lot of people are critical of The Walking Dead: World Beyond for what the show is. It’s a teen-centric supernatural drama set in a zombie universe, like MTV’s Teen Wolf but not sexy due to the unspoken body odor surrounding every character. That’s not to everyone’s taste, which is understandable. The Walking Dead isn’t to everyone’s tastes, either.
As such, a Walking Dead fan’s tolerance or interest in World Beyond is based heavily on just how much they enjoy watching melodramas meant for teenagers. Empties, adult characters, political intrigue… all of it takes a back-seat to the main thrust of the story, which is the teenage coming-of-age thing that can be divisive and limits the ceiling of World Beyond significantly. If this show were on the CW or Freeform,...

Lost alumna Elizabeth Mitchell is set for a recurring role on the second season Netflix’s breakout YA drama series Outer Banks. Production on Season 2 is currently underway in South Carolina. The coming-of-age story follows a tight-knit group of local teens (the “Pogues”) in the beach vacation destination of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. When a hurricane kills the power for the summer season, it sets off a chain of illicit events that force the friends to make life-altering decisions. Mitchell will play Limbrey, a long-time Charleston native; a compelling woman with a level of toxicity and menace underneath her seemingly courteous ways. Best known for her Emmy-nominated performance as Dr. Juliet Carlson on six seasons of J.J. Abrams’ ABC series, Lost, Mitchell recurred on Season 3 of Syfy’s The Expanse, and was a series regular on Freeform’s Dead Of Summer, NBC’s Revolution and ABC’s V.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond Episode 3
The Campus Colony in The Walking Dead: World Beyond is less like a hard-scrabble camp and more like a small town protected by stone walls. There might have been thousands of people who lived and worked behind those walls, but that clearly wasn’t enough to allow someone like Silas to join the community without making a few waves. In a small town, nothing moves as fast as the rumor mill, and when the hulking new arrival comes from Omaha with whispers of violence in his wake, it’s only natural that people talk while he tries desperately to sink into the background to be left alone. Of course, when you’re his size and don’t talk to people, that only makes people more interested in figuring out what makes you tick.

The teens of The Walking Dead: World Beyond have been given all the tools necessary to survive in the world around them. They’ve grown up with weapons training, martial arts drills, and walker-killing lessons from people who know exactly what they’re doing and how to do it. With a teacher like Felix (Nico Tortorella), who has been killing empties and in charge of campus security for quite some time, it’d be hard not to pick up the tricks necessary. Iris (Aliyah Royale), the class president, took to the lessons well. Go straight for the brain. Stab through the eye. Sweep the legs. Don’t wear yourself out battering a body uselessly. We don't have to waste time wondering if The Walking Dead: World Beyond will be cancelled right now since AMC ordered two seasons out of the gate. The cable channel has, however, described the show as a "limited series". That could mean that there won't be a third season or, just that there are a set number of episodes each season. The show's popularity and ratings will likely be the deciding factor. Stay tuned.

“The Walking Dead” has been running for nearly 10 years now, and its spinoff, “Fear the Walking Dead,” has been on for another five, so one might think this zombie-infested world has been pretty thoroughly explored by this point. Yet here we have “The Walking Dead: World Beyond,” a “limited series event” that promises to view the “Walking Dead” universe through the eyes of teenagers that have come of age in the zombie apocalypse.
It’s a solid enough premise on paper, but unfortunately, “Brave,” the “World Beyond” pilot, introduces a troupe of typical stock characters and sets them off to traipse through the abandoned towns and zombie-filled forests that viewers have seen many, many times before in this franchise.
Our main characters are sisters Iris (Aliyah Royale) and Hope (Alexa Mansour), residents of the Nebraska Campus Colony, a thriving community that has an alliance with the Civic Republic Military, a...

The following contains spoilers for The Walking Dead: World Beyond episode 1.
Way back in the tenth episode of The Walking Dead’s sixth season, Paul Rovia a.k.a. Jesus (Tom Payne) made a promise to Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln).
“You’re world’s about to get a whole lot bigger,” the Messianic-appearing figure said. And it did not take long for Jesus’s promise to bear fruit. Rick Grimes’s world did get bigger with the introduction of the Hilltop Colony, The Kingdom, Oceanside, and even The Sanctuary.
Since that moment, the world of The Walking Dead has only continued to grow. That growth reaches its apex (thus far at least) in the premiere of the third Twd spinoff, The Walking Dead: World Beyond. This latest installment of the franchise introduces viewers to not just one new location but three…and maybe more than that. And unlike Hilltop, Alexandria,...

After its premiere was delayed by several months due to Covid-19, the two-season The Walking Dead spinoff series The Walking Dead: World Beyond finally makes its debut this week. The story expands the Twd universe in a unique way, taking place 10 years after the zombie outbreak and focusing on a predominantly teenage cast of characters. Unlike the battered groups of survivors from The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead, these teens have been sheltered from walkers within the walls of a university in Omaha, Nebraska, a thriving colony that has afforded them a relatively normal, safe life post-outbreak.
But, as fans will learn from the very first episode, the Campus Colony (as it’s referred to) does have a seemingly precarious arrangement with the Civic Republic Military (Crm), whose ominous helicopters act as a narrative thread that ties the three shows together. It’s safe to say you’ll...

Created in October of 2003 by Robert Kirkman, The Walking Dead franchise is now old enough to drive and nearly old enough to vote. With that in mind, the latest Twd franchise is going to be injecting some fresh blood into the proceedings.
Premiering on Oct. 4 after The Walking Dead season 10 finale, The Walking Dead: World Beyond will be a unique experiment for the long-running AMC monolith. For starters, World Beyond won’t be reaching anywhere near the flagship series’ staggering 11-season run. The network has already announced that World Beyond will be a limited engagement, receiving two seasons of 10-episode each.
Then there’s the fact that World Beyond features a cast of young characters who have lived the majority of their lives among the walking dead and have grown accustomed to the apocalypse.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond, the second stand-alone series in AMC’s The Walking Dead franchise, will premiere on October 4 at 10 Pm as a lead-out to the mothership Twd. A special Talking Dead after-show to discuss both episodes will follow, the creative team and cast said Friday during the series’ panel discussion at Comic-Con@Home.
The news follows AMC having to postponed the series’ original April 12 premiere date back in March because of the then-growing coronavirus threat that upended most of the entertainment business. World Beyond had wrapped filming, but post-production on the final few episode was impacted by the industry shutdown.
Comic-Con@Home: Deadline’s Complete Coverage Of Virtual Confab
The new premiere date was revealed during the Comic-Con@Home panel at the end of a new, extended trailer for what is being touted as a two-season limited event. Check it out here:
