Winston George Tannis
Winston George Tannis is an artist and producer, born in Canada and
whose Godmother resided in Tucson, Arizona up until her death. He was
orphaned at age five and lived with his Lebanese Canadian mother in a
border house for Inuit students from North America's Northern
Territories. In high school, he excelled in singing, acting and comedy,
under the guidance of Ronald Peate, while also dancing for The Bolf
Dance Academy, as directed by Ingrid Bolf at the time.
Winston is known as a singer-songwriter, musical performer, band leader and actor, and as an author and editor. Winston George or WG is also known for his philosophical and human rights thinking, and how such is informing his major motion picture work, The Bar Dialogues, in early production at November 2011. He has founded Eternity Entertainment and Elite Music to co-produce this film work and the accompanying soundtrack.
The majority of his non-profit activities are pursued through The Winston George Foundation (Global)and BeaconWatch International (BWI), which have shown commitments to poverty relief, assisting minorities, and, promoting arts and culture appreciation.
