Evan Rachel Wood told Millie Bobby Brown she’s better off licking a toilet seat than reading negative comments online.
Wood said, while talking with Brown on Variety‘s “Actors on Actors,” that the piece of advice originally came from Selma Blair. During the interview, the “Stranger Things” and “Westworld” stars discussed how to handle criticism.
Brown said she gets plenty of advice from random people, and asked Wood for her sage advice.
“Make sure you love what you do. Be an actor not because you want to, but because you have to, because it’s your passion,” she said. She continued that it becomes more difficult as one gets older because the criticism comes more frequently and critics are able to hide behind the anonymity of the internet.

The hits keep on coming from your friendly neighborhood streaming giant, Netflix, which announced a fresh round of titles hitting the airwaves next month. Ranging from never-before-streamed comedy specials to historical classics to critically acclaimed kids’ films, these titles are sure to keep you cooped up and entertained throughout mud season. Enjoy.
1. “Richard Pryor: Live & Smokin'” (available April 1)
The first of only four specials ever filmed by the legendary comedian, this 45-minute stand-up set from 1978 was released on VHS in 1985 and has never been available to stream before (legally). Almost universally revered by comedians of all stripes, this special has stayed relatively obscure due to an uneven performance from Pryor. Still, you can learn from a genius even on a bad day.
2. “Across the Universe” (available April 1)
Even Rachel Wood and Jim Sturgess anchor this visually enchanting Beatles movie musical from visionary Broadway director and choreographer Julie Taymor (“Titus...

6.2 Trust Me Knot
After last week’s cliffhanger we were all left wondering how Nick would escape with armed police poised to descend on his hiding place on the orders of the corrupt Captain Renard.
Even with Wu and Hank’s last-minute intervention to arrest Renard for the murder of Rachel Wood, there looked like no way out for Nick. But what the police officers – or anyone else for that matter – didn’t consider was the possessive nature of the Nick’s magic stick. (No double entendre intended.) Acting all on its own, the Stick of Destiny stunned the officers and Nick was able to make his escape, phew!

[Editor’s Note: spoilers below, through Episode 9 of “Westworld”]
There’s not much Evan Rachel Wood can say about the “Westworld” finale.
“It’s so hard,” Wood said about keeping the show’s many secrets. “I’m excited about being able to say things out loud again.”
Despite one more week of closely guarded twists, what Wood could tell IndieWire is enough to raise even the most excited fan’s expectations. After nine episodes of surprises — starting with Wood’s character, Dolores, killing a pesky fly in the show’s premiere — Wood sums up Episode 10, “The Bicameral Mind,” in one word: “Wow.”
IndieWire spoke with Wood about what to expect on Sunday, how she shared her own fan theories with co-stars during production, and what little she knows about Season 2.

HBO is on the verge of ushering in the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin with Westworld, a serialized take on Michael Crichton’s original motion picture that veers into dark, unspeakable territory with today’s all-new trailer.
Chronicling the story of Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood), we watch as she rises ready to tackle the day until she catches herself staring longingly at her own reflection. Cue the sombre voiceover from Anthony Hopkins as wicked park owner Dr. Robert Ford and Dolores is on her knees, naked as her name day, and being interviewed about the misleading nature of dreams.
If Philip K. Dick posed the question ‘do androids dream of electric sheep?’, Westworld takes that notion of AI and nudges it toward full-blown horror territory, with today’s teaser culminating in a shot of disposed android bodies being cast aside deep within the bowels of Ford’s scientific facility.
