Karen Wheelock was born and raised on a farm in small-town, Wisconsin.
Although extremely shy as a little girl, she always liked to perform.
She was passionate about singing, dancing, and acting.
Wheelock went to Beloit College and got degrees in Theatre and Communications. She also sang in multiple choirs, was the station manager at her college station, choreographed two tap dances, shot and edited video, and played around on guitar. After graduation, she drifted away from her fields of study and started working mundane office jobs.
Several years later, after going through some major heartbreak, Wheelock found her voice again and finally picked up her guitar began writing her own music. She wrote her song "Stitches" about the heartbreak, and it helped mend her.
Wheelock has since blossomed in the local music and arts scene. She has met so many wonderful artists of different sorts, and she loves being a part of film productions.
