parents. He has one brother. A keen goalkeeper as a child, he spent his

his stage work, the school transformed his perception of acting within
weeks. Playing the part of Konstantin in The Seagull at LAMDA allowed

and ignore any communication with anyone not associated with the
production. He moved to New York in 2008 for a year to continue his
studies, whilst there he also worked with notable acting coach George
DiCenzo before returning to England. His first performance in a short
film funded by the British Film Council in 2009 won praise, the low
budget project was showcased at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2010 a
scene from Herons was recorded on film, a private project saw Nicholas
take on the role of Charlie, a performance that received personal
praise from prolific writer Simon Stephens who had originally penned
the play.
