Speaking about it, one of the film’s producers Tarun Sudhir told The New Indian Express that though the film has been titled Rambo 2, it is not a sequel to Rambo. He reportedly told, “Like in Rambo, a car plays a very major character in Rambo 2, and that’s one of the reasons we went with the title that was quite apt to the story’s theme.” The film's audio teaser and soundtrack have been released already which has upped the expectation levels for it. Rambo 2 is currently in the post-production mode and its makers are planning to release it next month. However, the exact date of its release is yet to be revealed. Rambo that released in September 2012 was directed by Ms Sreenath. It was produced jointly by Atlanta Nagendra and Sharan.
