A graduate of Cal State University Los Angeles, with a degree in Television, Film and Media Studies, Jason Peguero from an early age knew he wanted to be a filmmaker.
"I was fascinated by Richard Donner's Superman, and classic films like Universal's Frankenstein." "The art form has allowed me to be a storyteller, to create different worlds and the unique characters that inhabit them."
During his studies, Jason would volunteer on local independent projects to gain invaluable on-set experience. His earliest work includes Prehistoric Sound, which won Best Documentary at the 2016 Golden Eagle Film Festival.
"As a minority, my goal has always been to give a voice to the voiceless."
