- Special Effects
Patrick T. Schliesman (b. 1963) collaborated on several films with his
friend, writer-director Scott Allen Nollen, while attending high school
in Harlan, Iowa, during the late 1970s. A versatile character actor, he
often played several roles in the same film (occasionally in the same
scene), and also contributed to other production duties, including
special effects and the construction of props.
In Nollen's short, fact-based film, "The Adventures of Roo" (1984), Schliesman is portrayed by Marshalltown, Iowa, native Toby Huss, who would go on the great success as an actor in Hollywood.
